struggles of losing weight

is there any technique in losing weight fast?? why do we need to eat if it tends to gain weight?? i'm a fat lady whose been stuggling in losing weight since high school, i already tried different diets, pills and slimming teas but still i ended up the same..somebody can help me find better ways of eating but losing weight at the same time???

My weight also tends to see-saw. I call myself the treadmill fiend. Before that, I was a running bum. But hey, no matter how much exercise I do, I never did lose that much weight. I think once we are comfortable with ourselves and what size we are,and we are able to accept ourselves and try to improve what we don't like in ourselves, everything, including the weight loss will follow. I know it's hard. I've had days when I decide to diet, just to put it off for the next day. I think what would help is a support group. If everybody is in your circle is supportive of you, every effort you will do to lose weight will count. They will serve as your inspiration and your strength. And of course, stick to health eating, remove all junk from the refrigerator and cupboards, and make every effort to do some exercise.

i guess i should hang out with people who hates food.. but yeah, if people are supportive enough it wouldnt be a big struggle..like they always say, live life to the fullest...but everytime i see sexy women, cant stop myself from wishing hard that i'm that sexy too.. anyway friend, thanks for the advise...a little exercise will be much helpful.. happy myLot.. :)

I think that everyone has problems with their weight at some point in their life, whether that's not being able to lose weight or not being able to gain the weight. You don't have to use diet pills or anything like that, and the only thing that you have to think about is whether you're eating fewer calories than you're eating, You should count the calories that you're eating each day, and then the number of calories that you're burning by exercise, and make sure that you're not eating more than you're burning. This is the method that I have been using for the past two years, and I have managed to lose almost eight stone now so that is something that I am very proud about.

hi there. i think ur right everyone has problems in reference to weight. two weeks ago i started not eat rice at all, instead im eating oatmeal every meal time and avoided sodas and sweets. i feel i have lose weight. gonna continue what i have started and hopefully i'll get the weight i wanted.

I am finally slowly losing weight and feeling good. I've combined a few different things that seem to work. First, I pray! That helps. Then when I eat, I tell myself that I'm full. Our bodies believe what our words say to it. That sounds strange but it's true. Third, I concentrate on eating real food like meat, vegetables, fruit and grain. and avoid processed food like canned stuff and frozen dinners. Then, I'm walking every day. It seems to work.

Many of my friends want to lose weight, but it is really so difficult. My friends told me that if you want to lose weight, maybe you try to eat less meat and more vegetables.

YOu can try eat fresh fruit instead of drinking fruit juice,
Take balance diet.Do not drink sodas and sweets.Take in less
calories than you burn in a day.

Diets, pills teas, nothing works permanent.
Please bear in mind that weight loss is a SLOW process.
I am a weight loser myself. I lost 10 kgs in last 6 months, 30 more to go. But am I happy with my such slow loss?
Yes I am.
Why? Because, i am not gonna put it back on.
Following are the things that I did to achieve this
1. Increased the amount of water intake to 5-6 lit per day. When I feel hungry, i first drink water. Sometimes you feel hungry when you are really thirsty. So this keeps me from unwanted eating.
2. I eat 5-6 small meals a day. I try them to be raw like fruits, veggies or something cooked in my own kitchen. I used to eat fast food daily. Now I treat myself with fast food once, whenever i lose a kg:).
3. Move more, don't ask others to fetch something for you. Use stairs instead of elevator. Whenever your mind strays to the thought that you are fat, stand up and do jumping jacks for a minute.
Only these things have helped me to lose this much.
Please be warned that
1. If you don't eat healthy and only exercise, your appetite will be increased and you'll more likely not lose weight.
2. If you diet and don't exercise then you will lose weight but your body will be flabby.
So how to lose weight???
Rule no 1: Eat healthy.
Rule no 2: Eat only when you are hungry.
Rule no 3: Move more.

Hi,
Welcome to mylot. I think there is no technique of losing weight fast, and if there is so you should not go for it. There may be bad side effects of it. My brother's sister in law was very fat from childhood. But when she grew up she decided to lose her weight. she had joined a gym for exercise, dietician for proper diet. She did all the things as per advice of dietician and gym. In the beginning everyone was teasing her that there is no use of your gym and all that. But after some days gone she was getting results and now she is successful in losing weight and she looks very beautiful. you should have determination, patience and control on mind then you will get success.
