Is there particular strategies you use to keep awake and concentrate in class? My mind tends to wander off and I sometimes accidently fall asleep.

I feel like I'd just sleep. The difference is that the teacher can see me.

I think you should try to take some notes, because when I feel so boring in class and start to wander off I try to take notes and well it is pretty useful not only to make me focus in class but also helps me when the exam is about to come.
Hope this is will be useful for you.

True. However, my teachers might talk about the same subject for about ten minutes and those are the moments i get sleepy.

I find that taking classes that interest you is really important when it comes to paying attention... A subject that doesn't interest you just doesn't interest you, you know? But sometimes it's unavoidable to take a class you don't have much interest in. I think you just have to force yourself to pay as much attention as possible.

I tried this a lot, but I fall asleep from being so bored. I wish the teacher was more exciting.

I just used to give my full attention if the class is quite intresting. I just used to give my attention to only the subjects like physics, maths and chemistry. Those are the three most important to me and listening to the classes will help of to learn them quite eaisly. Other subjects are quite managable by myself.

How funny it is! I have some experience in this problem because I sometimes meet bad teachers who did make me really bored, :D. My method is preparing well before going to class, which help you more confident in hearing, because you dont need to hear and remember anything. good luck

Being able to focus is something that I struggled with a little bit at school, especially when that lesson was something that I wasn't really interested in. I think it is important that you try to get into the routine of having plenty of sleep at night, because this is something that might affect your ability to stay awake during the course of the school day. You should also try to engage in the lesson, whether that's writing notes or answering questions asked by the teacher, because if you do this it means that you're thinking about the lesson and you're much less likely to fall asleep.

When I was in school life, I think it is easy to focus in class, I like studying. If you can't focus in class, maybe you can have a cup of cool water.

I think preparing your lesson before class may be helpful. You see, when you know nothing about the new lesson, you can't understand your teachers well, so you will not concentrate yourself in the class. Prepare your lesson, and find out which part you don't understand well in the new content, and try to solve it with the teachers' help in class. It's important that you know what the teachers are going to teach before class.Previewing before classes, listening carefully at class, and reviewing after classes, you will feel better in class. Just my opinions, hope it's helpful.Have a nice day!
