As in, where did you meet them? I have to say the majority of my friends are from elementary school. A couple I have stuck with from middle school. But it seems like no one from high school and I talk anymore -- or college for that matter. But I have strong friends, mainly from elementary school. I have 3 very good friends that I have known since I was 6 years old and we were all in the same kindergarten class together! It's kind of crazy to imagine being friends with someone for 15 years+. But they are the best.. I have some work friends but I generally don't see them outside of work. I have some Facebook friends from college and from the neighborhood that I also don't really see.
So I'm just wondering where most of your good friends come from. Where did you meet your best friend? Or your good friends?

I have met my friends in many different places. I met one of my very close friend on a trip. We stayed in touch when we returned to our own country and we have friends for 14 years. I met another close friend in nursing school. Originally we were a group of 3 friends who did most of our assignments together and generally spent a lot of time together. I am still friends with one of them, but we have both lost touch the other friend. One of my friends and I met because we were neighbours in the past and when we moved we stayed in touch. One friend is an old co-workers and two of my friends are are online friends who have become offline friends.

I met most of my best friends in high school. I shared only same interests with my friends in elementary school but same values with those in high school. After we know each other very well, we do not need to spend much time together but we can still be very good friends.

The best friends are from youth club, most of person are like this. and when we are young, we can get fun together without any conflict, although some guys often fight together; they will recover origin closely friendship for a while. These person owned the best life time memory together. It can't buy in whatever.Life is a travel ship, you will go cross with someone else. Now when we ask self, where come from my most friends? no answer can grasp friend immediately. What a shame!

Our friends are from all over the place. We still hang out with the same people we did in highschool but as time went on they made new friends, we made new friends, and of course everyone started to pair up. It's worked out really great and we now have an awesome group of people around us. We've made friends with people new to town which has been great. We've also made friends through work over the years. Our guy friends have paired up with awesome ladies who I became close friends with. All in all we're really fortunate when it comes to friends. It's nice to be in a place where we have other couples to do things with, people to do our separate girl & guy stuff with, and no one makes anything difficult or challenging. Everyone is laid back, accepting and no one creates any issues or the dreaded 'drama'. Life is definitely good for us!

I had met most of my good friends during my secondary education, especially during eight standard to tenth standard. It was the time I was gifted with lot of good friends after that it was during my collage days. I was really having a good time with them and I am really sad to tell you that I am missing them a lot.

In terms of cities, most of my friends are from Pomona, CA. In terms of school or work, then most of them are from high school and college.
I really don't pay much attention because I only care about people just being my friend. If people want to talk to me, and if they want to be my friend, then that's cool. I don't ask for much on that.

There is actually not a specific place that I met most of my friends. I have one really good friend that I've been friends with since we were in elementary school and I know that we will be friends through the rest of our lives. Then I have a couple that I'm close friends with that I met through a girl that I'm not friends with anymore when I was in college. My very best friend I met through my boyfriend at the time (she is his sister) and I am still good friends with her brother as well. We lost contact for eight years but we were able to pick up where we left off when we got back in contact with each other. The most recent friends that I've made have come through being parents of my children's friends.

I met them when I was still studying. I have good friends from college whom I go out with at least once or twice a year for I am already living far from them. But we constantly talk with each other thru FB and text messages. I have a good friend here in my present place of residency and I hang out with her whenever we have time.

Most of my good friends are from my childhood. Some of them i have known my whole life but most of them are from elementary school and from church. When i entered high school my best friends introduced me to some of her new friends. Who knew that we would end up being good friends. My oldest friendship is around 16 years.

Most of my friends I met in high school , I had some nice friends in prep school but we all go to different high school . I am now attending college and hardly see my two best friend from high school and I met two good friend in college and wish it would be like living in the same community after but as for me I will be living in another country very soon so , I guess I will be making new friends again .
I have work friends also but as you say I dont normally see them outside work and as for people I met online that's simple it online friends . So over all I met my best friends in high school will be no other like those two .

I met most of my friends while going to school but some of my closer friends were met at music festivals and some of my best friends have come from music festival meetings. My friend Jacob I met while in middle school and we have known each other for more than half of our lives and we are really close. My other friends Nick and Jordan I met while in middle school and they are two really great guys that I'm sure I will always be in contact with.
My girlfriend right now I met at a music festival and some of my other friends that I met at festivals we stay in contact even though we don't live close to each other. Overall I don't really think it matters where you meet your friends it's more of who they are and what kind of connection you are able to make with one another while you are around each other.

It's probably because you've been with them for so long. Usually the people you meet in high school you just know for four years maximum, so the bond isn't as strong.
I moved in elementary school, so I left many of my good friends behind. I still keep in contact with them, but we still have the distance between us. At my new school, it seems that everyone was a tad meaner, and not as friendly. The same goes for middle and high school, and I just missed the openness and welcome my old friends provided me.
I made a few good friends in high school that I still meet up with in New York City occasionally, since all of us go to college in the New England area. But for most of my other high school friends, I've completely lost contact, and I don't mind :P
I've met some really nice people in college that I can relate to as well, so life is good :)

Hi,meaezee
I am very exciting when I think about the title of this article, because memory makes my happy. I count all my friends. The best friends have two. One is from internet, we are internet friends. He is good at design with photoshop and my job need photoshop too. He helped me always, so we became friends soon. Now we help each other and have dinner often. We have different hobby, but we are best friends. Another one is from my work friend. He is not my co-worker, we just met in one work. In another words, I am his client. Now, we are best friends. We also help each other even money, family, career, etc.
Maybe someone ask me why my classmates are not my best friends. I analyze this question for a long time. My conclusion is my classmate so young and all graduated from collegue just. We all haven't good economic bases. So we don't like contact each other. One of my high school teachers said to me 'when you reach at 40-year-old, you must contact each other on your own initiative'. I personlly think she is right.
That's all.

And the rest are from High School. Ever since then, We usually go out have some fun and chat when we have free time together.
