Red Flower

I like flowers as my subject. They're very pretty. They come in different colours and best of all, they don't move. I cannot make mistakes in taking pictures of flowers. They always come out really beautiful. What I love about photography is that I get to see beauty in almost everything. I always wish I ave a ready camera with me every time I o somewhere. Good thing I always have my phone with me. I could pretty do well with an eight megapixel camera. Hope you'll appreciate my red flower.

Your flower photo is lovely. I too, like taking photos of flowers, and they come in so many colors and varieties. The only problem I have is taking them when there is any kind of wind. I do best when they are still. I have added my photo of a red poppy next to your red flower. I took the photo straight into the flower as I wanted capture the detail of the flower's center. It is so delicate. The petals also reminded me of a ruffled skirt.

8 megapixels is good enough to take pictures. But where is the picture?

Yeah as long as you have enough lighting and the iso is great too. However, my phone's iso is limited. SLR would have given the flower more justice.

nice picture there toni! care to share why you use 'frenchtoast' as your handlename for your photography club? 'hope you'll appreciate my red flower.' - when you say red flower , do you mean you planted this flower yourself? or do you claim that since you are a goddess, you can own virtually anything and everything you wish for? lol! oh and keep showing us pictures of your flower toni... be it red, pink, violet, or blue. cheers and happy mylotting!!!

'i'll definitely keep showing my flower...' - you'd turn a seemingly innocent topic into a rated-r discussion. very naughty goddess, very naughty indeed. i'm getting a dlsr camera by the end of september. i'm getting women as subjects for my future photo shoots. will post the pics here in mylot when i get the chance. given a chance, i'll have a goddess for one of my photo shoot subjects as well. cheers and happy mylotting!!! hi, i also love flowers,actually i have many flowers that i really love, especially those color who have yellow because its really distracting color for me,ever since i love to have flowers in the house and all of them are flowering and its good in the eyes if they bloom all.

I love photography but i don't have camera(like your's). And I am sure Nature-enthusiast sorry most of us like at least these things from nature birds, flowers, drizzle and breeze...

That's not a rose. I'm lucky to have a phone with a great camera. I just wish that I have an SLR though. It could do more justice. I did some editing for the sparkle.

I too love taking photographs, this unique hubby I am having since 1958, i started with a Kodak box camera, now i have the latest Canon digital that makes pictures so true.. But black and white photography with roll films had the real tingling sensation for me

It is a good thing you appreciated a red flower, I do enjoyed taking the credit of organizing a bunch flowers into clippings. Most of the flowers are found from different nations, that's what I remember working in an American company in China.
