I do love swimming. I am you before I got the skills to swim. Try and try until you acquire the skills.

It is so wonderful that you had your first time in the sea today learning how to swim. In know that you have got water confidence so you will soon get the skill of swimming. I had swimming lessons at my infant school. It was an outdoor pool so the water was really cold. I didn't learn to swim in those years. It was a shame I missed that opportunity. I learned how to swim when I was ten years old in Devon. I was in the sea and to my amazement I just began swimming. I wish you good luck in learning how to swim.

hai, fangyujia! your experience helps me to racall my sweet memory of swimming in the sea. In my childhood I used to swim in big pond (3 hectare area). It was our daily routine to cross the pond several times. I first visited a sea in the year 1992. It was our honeymoon trip. I tried to swim in sea and like you drank a lot of sea water. At night I got severe abdominal pain with loose motion. It takes two days to be fit. But after two days I again went to swim and at last succeeded. A good memory.

Hi I'm not a good swimmer but I personally taught. My niece and nephew how to swim. It's just a matter of trust and confidence to them, assuring that I will not drowned them in my lesson. And told them to focus if they want they can that's the dedication.. Now I'm so thankful that they know how to swim and enjoying the beach and swimming pool.

swimming in the ocean is really scary when you're not used to it. It's really big and wide i was afraid to get lost in it :( but on the other side, you can find it exciting to explore the sea to see exotic sea creatures :D

I also like to swim in a sea rather than in the swimming pool because I felt very dirty in the pool.I felt floating in salt water is more easier than in the pool.I have learn to swim in the pool because I felt safer in the pool.

I remember the first time when I went to the Ocean was with my parents. I deeply remember that my dad kind of throw meinto the water, I freaked out in the sea then he picked my up; he thought it was an easy way to make me figure out how to swim but I thought it was so scary... I eventually learn how to swim on my own somehow and now I like the Ocean a lot although where I live doesn't have a beach right now....

hi fangyujia. Swimming in the sea irregardless if you know how to swim or not is great fun. I miss my childhood days where we are only 10 to 15 minutes away travelling by public transport to the sea in the province where i was born. i had never learned how to swim nonetheless it was always great fun.

I swam in the sea first time 23 years ago. Since then I have done this this thing a few times although I lived in a coastal city that boasts one of the most beautiful sandy wide sea beach in the world. However, I would not swim in the sea, but enjoy the breeze in the sea beach. One thing swimming at low tide time or low ebb time can be dangerous and it is always advised to not go deep down the shore during low ebb.
