Boob deodorant

Not to be confused with moob deodorant, which is more masculine smelling...
So, the menopause thing again. When I get all hot and sweaty, due to hot flashes, exercise or whatever, I get this kind of sour-ish sweaty boob smell. Is there such a thing as boob deodorant? Do you think there would be a market for such a thing? Am I crazy? (goes over to drawing board)

I'm not sure if this will help, but have you checked out anti-monkey butt powder? There are three forms of it, regular, baby, and female. Its to help with chaffing and such, I'm not sure if it helps with odors or not though but it might be something to look into.

I do not have any experience in this particular area, but I talked with a couple of people, and they said that regular deodorant and/or baby powder usually works. Apparently there are also bras that are more "breathable" that you could try - they supposedly either allow more air-flow (although I am not sure what kind of air is expected to be flowing there) or at least allow sweat to evaporate more quickly rather than soaking it up and keeping the area moist, which not only feels more comfortable but also helps to keep it from smelling and causing a rash.

Actually, there is a medicated powder that not only helps prevent chafing but also helps prevent odor that works better than regular baby powder ... or at least that is what I was told. One of the brand names is Gold Bond Medicated Powder, but I was told that some of the generic brands work just as well, although you might want to try the name brand first to see whether or not it will work for you as not all generics are the same.

We are in the same boat..and it is irritating ..cannot go out..start sweating profusely and wonder what I should be doing. My method is using damp napkins and wiping me all over. We get perfumed set with eu de cologne. Open one may be. My doctor told me to reduce spicy food. And drink a lot of water. That is what I am trying for now. But I really hate this sweaty hot flushes. How many years do we have to suffer them? Any idea?

I have never heard of any.....I really don't know about the market. I did hear that they made a new implant for women called itit..it plays music. Since women complain all the time that men stare at their boob's but never listen to them it now fulfills what men need...they can look and listen at the same time! (LOL)

When I sweat under my boobs I put regular deorderate there. It helps. I do put it on my boobs sometimes and on under my belly, too. I have been doing the menopause thing, too! I really hate hot flashes and all the sweating that comes with it! I thought I was pretty much over that but I am not! I know how you feel!

Two words: Baby wipes. Get the travel package that you can keep in your purse to freshen up as needed. You can try talc, but because of the flashes I doubt anything would be of much help. Whatever you do, don't put antiperspirant anywhere but under your arms!

NEVER use anything on your body that is made for another part of your body unless a doctor has said it was ok. There a special products for special areas to protect you from developing, er, special problems.

I don't know about something as boob deodorant.I think, any good deodorant would solve your problem.I had the same type of sweating around my private area whenever I have to work hard during daytime going from one office to another.I experience sweating and itching. So I always keep a deodorant in my bag.I go to the toilet and use the deodorant on the affected part.Problem gets solved.

You just sweating that is all. The best is to wash it off. Menopause is a moody period for me too and it can bring a lot of roller coaster moo change so lets keep in shape the same. My husband encouraged me to go back on the bike, to get in shape, not because I need to be slimmer, because i could be rounder and it would not hurt me, but get healthier, so exercise help in any stages of life, hang in there, even if it is smelly.

I was hoping to avoid having to shower 10 times per day.

That is rather interesting as I have the extra sweating thing these days as well and if I don't shower for one day it will get really bad in the summer sometimes if the weather is very hot. Not otherwise. I'm not sure what the boob odor is, but I do get some chafing under them on my torso and once in a while a rash. I have eczema on and off too and I thought it was due to that. When I was in the hospital I broke out on my back and under my boobs for a few days due to stress and nerves. I do hope your problem is resolved. I liked the corn starch and the baby powder ideas as well as the bathing thing daily.

Nail Tech, you could have also been having a reaction to the laundry detergent in the hospital. It made my infant son's face peel. Of course that was years ago, but it is harsh. I will also throw the thought that using an antiperspirant/deodorant or powder will help prevent getting a yeast infection or rash under the boobs.

Hey kiddo, I have huge knockers and they get sweaty underneath even in winter. I use talcum powder and also sometimes, mostly in summer, I use my underarm, antiperspirant under my boobs. A fresh cotton bra each day would probably help but I don't possess one and never will going by the styles. (.Y.)

i would say get a good medicated powder and stick it under there.
might have to reapply it a few times a day,but it does the trick.

Dear dawn
Thanks for this discussion, my wife started having hot flashes, mood swings long back as pre-menopausal syndromes; she has this sourish smell. Our doctor advised her to apply sandal wood and turmeric paste on the boobs and wash pu@ssy with yogurt.

You're not crazy, it's the menopause thing. Since i'm not at that stage yet, i couldn't clearly picture how smelly the boob is. Not sure if there will ever be a boob deo but there are cream deodorant that i think could be used.

hi!!
ofcourse you are not crazy. menopause is normal at age of 45 and above. if you don't want to smell like masculine, take a bath everyday, use deodorant and put some cologne all over your body after you are fresh and smell good just like infant.
happy mylotting!!!!!!

This isn't a masculine sweaty smell, it 's more sour or something. Anyway, I do shower every day, and by the end of the day I"m sweaty.
