Well on scientific grounds I certainly and rightly do not believe in miracles. There has to be a reason behind everything that happens. This is what I am taught in science. But yes some things do surprise me considering the fact that the timing of their occurrence or the way the things happen.

I personally believe in Miracles. I believe God answered prayers.
In 2011, I and my family went to Singapore for my husband company's
annual dinner. My son told me that he wants to go to visit Universal
Studio Singapore. I told him that we do not have the time, moreover the
entrance fees is quite costly especially in Singapore Dollar. We
need to spend at least whole day to make the money spend worth it.
We should stay overnight in the resort in order to watch the Laser
Crane show and fire works display. So, I just say out to the open
sky (to God)"We will stay 3Day2Nights in Resort World Singapore to
enjoy to the fullest at Universal Studio". You guessed it right.
Two weeks after that I received in my email that I won a 3D2N fully
paid holiday trip to Universal Studio Singapore courtesy of Resort
World Singapore. We were given the best hotel room suites to stay,
flight from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore, limousine driven, VIP tour of
Universal Studio Singapore with the Voyage de La Vie stage musical show.
Vouchers to spend at their Food & Beverage outlets. Miracles do happens Thank you God

Nothing's wrong with believing in miracles since nothing will lost or gain. For me, i don't much care if something mysterious happen to my life, if it's a miracle, well, I'm going to believe it. I don't need much reason or any excuse for what happened. If a person tell me that he/she witnessed a miracle, maybe I'm going to believe him/her (depends upon his/her story) since nothing will happen if I believe or not, it's just it's better that way for me.
