I live very far inland, so the sea is only an occasional treat for me. Then I mostly play. I do go to lakes a lot in the summer, that is popular here. I like both indoor and outdoor pools.

I love the ocean, I love waves and riding them, if there is a pool there I'll swim in it but prefer the salt water!

I prefer swimming in the pool as I am very much afraid of the big waves in sea as I am not perfect in swimming.

I'm afraid of the ocean, because of what's in it, and how it can pull you in. So, I will go with a pool.

I love swimming in pools but the chlorine is bad for your skin and hair. Swimming in the sea is great for your skin. I swam in the ocean a lot when I went to Belize.

Chlorine does dry everything out. But not long ago I stayed at a hotel that had a salt water pool, got the best of both worlds. Wheres Belize, europe, is it Spain?

pool - pool
salt gets into my eyes, and also stings my skin. so if ever i have to go swimming, which i rarely do, anyway, i'd prefer the pool to the sea.
