As a female, I really agree with you, prashu. Man and woman both have advantages and disadvantages, in a family , I think woman plays the more important part than man. Woman is more patient for children, woman is better at housework and cooking than man, woman is more careful in details... Woman is important in society, too.

I feel that when a woman displays her strengths and focuses on them then they will become a source of power that will often lead to a development of things that are needed to be done. It will often help her to succeed in the other things that she is wanting and needing to get done in life as well.

Hello Prashu, I agree with you that woman is the base of a family. If you educate a woman, she will educate her children and help her husband in times of need. This is so because a woman goes to the extent of doing anything for her family's well-being. Woman today is already a part of the working society. Woman has been serving the society on all the possible platforms. Many women are holding positions in Central and State government, there are woman astronauts, mountaineers, social workers, doctors, teachers,lecturers etc etc... Woman today has a hold in every field and is working along with men for the betterment and the upliftment of the society. Women's power and their capabilities have been acknowledged by the society, but there are certain places where she is still treated unequally. I think education is her only rescue in such situations.

It is said that women is the one who is after every successful man. But after every failure also there is a women. If a women makes a point she can do anything. In today world she manages her house as well her her job very brilliently. She is the influence on every one in the family . If she takes the wrong place then every thing turn out to be wrong.

As one said that women can make the house and she is the only one who can break the house . After every men success there is a women and after every men failure there is aldo a women. So stop taking her for granted.

It all depends on how we define empowerment and development. If women only try to compete with men, trying to do all those things which men are doing and trying to go to all those places where men are going, then I fail to understand what type of empowerment this is. Is it truly empowerment or is it only imitating men? True development means solving the problems of life. If a woman wishes to be a housewife and finds happiness there, then what is wrong in that

I think there has to be balanced thought in it all. :) I agree empowering women is good, but expecting impossible things need to be toned down. We need to be circumspect about somethings like women can be at greater risk so they are more likely to succumb to threats. Suppose women are in senior position, and get threatened from their superiors, they would bend down faster. So empowering is good but expecting miracles is not. There are, however, other areas where it is absolutely essential.

Hi there prashu, I think women are already in power in my life i think i fear more women than i fear some men, women usually have more will and are more witty when it comes to dealing with things they seem to have outgrown there counterparts in many ways it is just sad that many still see women weaker but for me women and men are just equal we just have our own weaknesses as people.

Women are indeed the integral part of a home and they are rightly occupying their deserving space in society as well. Now we see women equaling men in al the fields and even surpassing them in few. They excellently manage households with all adversities. You correctly mentioned in them giving the first education to a child upon which he further constructs his career. We should admire women for what they do and respect their efforts in every task they oft for.

Yes I fully agree with you. Beyond holding family responsibilities, she is now doing multiple role. So we need to empower women in health, political, social, equality and social justice...etc.
