Listening to love songs remind us the feeling of so madly in love. Would you agree? Recently, I spend my leisure time to visit my lovely aunt. The usual, we talked and try to patch up the shortcomings of life. Along the conversations, she was smiling as she heard her fave song: "Paper Roses" played from her DVD player. I can't help it but to ask, why does she like the song? She replied, "It is our theme song of your uncle". Then, we laughed. My uncle used to serenade her with that song. It sounds corny, but I felt that, it is so sweet of them to have a couple song. How about you? Any songs for your special someone?

How sweet! I was never lucky enough to have a special song with any of my special someones. I think this is a good thing because it is full of good memories. Everybody should have a favorite or special song.

I am grateful that you liked the discussion. Until now, I can still feel the giggling moments with my aunt.

Huey Lewis & Gwyneth Paltrow (?) singing "Groovin` Together." Special because I've sung it in Karaoke with a couple girls (one at a time) ... almost as good as committing adultery

My husband's song for me is "I Knew I Loved You" of Savage Garden. I love listening to him singing this song for me. I can't think of a good song for my husband now. LOL. I have a lot but I can't remember them. Haha. Happy mylotting.

The song that I most think of as being the theme song for my husband and myself is "From this Moment On" by Shania Twain. The reason that I think of this song as being the theme song of my husband and myself is because of the fact that song was the song that we chose to be our first dance song at our wedding a little over eight years ago. Other than that, I really can't think of any other songs that would be a theme song for the two of us. We do listen to a lot of music together, but there aren't many songs that I think of as being songs that are really special to us.

There are definitely songs that I associate with people and/or relationships, although they are not necessarily a "theme song" but might just remind me of a time when we did something together and that song was playing or something like that. As I am sitting here, there are actually a couple songs running through my head, and I am smiling at the memories that they bring to mind.

Songs of Bryan Adams are all good for love life. :) However, a song is not really important in a relationship because the most important is that you love each other.

I Have no special someone right now - but yes when we were together, actually we used to have that song where we both would feel special hearing.. and when we hear the song being played, well we know that it is OUR song. I guess that is how with people, couples - married or not. we all have that special song we like and love to hear and we just never get tired of it, even if we try. hehe

I listen to love songs and think they are bunch of lies! I grew up thinking that this is true love! Nothing can go wrong in those songs! At least the happy love songs! So I expecting my relationships to be like the love songs! Not! Same with romance novels! I was misled and was never taught the thruth about love! So when I listen to love songs I just think,"I wish this was true"!

Music has always been asociated with my life. I have some songs such as the one you talked about, but there are also the songs we danced to when we were teens, the favorite songs of my father, the songs we learned at camp, the lullabies my mother sang to us. I could go on forever. Music is so evoquing.

In our lifetime, we always incorporate certain songs to special persons that came our way. We really do not have a theme song, but whenever we hear songs during our College times, we reminisce.

I have many songs for my boyfriend but they all not his favorite , he loves blues, soul, 70's and 80's. Few days ago we were chatting then he sang "ain't no mountain high enough" (well, he typed in chat bar ) It was so sweet of him and he was surprise when I told him I know that song, one of my favorite.

Yes it is true. It is very sweet and romantic. I have lots of special songs like "Forevermore" by a local band here. I like the songs of Rascall Flats too. Hearing these type of music makes me feel better all the time.
