How do you see boys with long hair?Do you see them like something natural,or do you think it's a bit exaggerated for them to do so? Personally,I don't have nothing with them. They just look as natural to me as bald people or as people with their hair dyed. Sometimes I see or hear people saying "look at him.Why does he have long hair?Is he a girl? Why would you even want this in the first place?Does he really think he looks good?" I do not have this attitude regarding men with long hair. How about you,my friends? What is your opinion of people men with long hair?Do you like them?Do you hate them?Do you see it as natural?

It depends on the man having it actually, my friend. There are men who looks good with long hair, as long as they can keep it neat and straight and away from their face. But i don't like my husband to ever have a long hair, and so does he.

Well, that's good you and your husband agree on the same thing. It could really be a pain one wanting something and another wanting the complete opposite. Yes,it depends on how the person looks and how he/she takes care of it.

Well, don't we want to please our partners? So, we always seek for their advise when it comes to our looks.

I would feel a bit of admiration because the person is courageous enough to have long hair. We have to admit, long hair for men would elicit comments, negative or positive. However, my only wish is that if a man likes to wear his hair long, I hope that he would be particular about hygiene. He must look and smell clean. Have a nice day!

Well, yes. It's admirable that a person decides to keep his hair long. And this goes not only for men,but for women also.Apart from the discussion of the people around you,one should really look after the hair's well being. You may need to wash, comb, treat,go to a saloon. As it becomes longer and longer,it becomes a great responsibility. For others it becomes a burden, and they go the easy way.Snip-snip.

For i can understand some boy who love to keep their hair long. This is about personal belief. So have respect and lol, i treat as a sign of art.For it is suitable for some people while some are not. But still i have to say that i will not choose my boyfriend who has long hair.

I agree, long hair may be suitable for some types of men,and it's not suitable for some cases.I guess that everybody must endure a little bit of embarrassment when choosing the best hair style I remember when I had a full head of hair.I couldn't even comb it.It was so rough, thick and absolutely no form. Then I couldn't take it anymore and cut it short. Now,I think i look the best.I don't have to worry about it,it doesn't get all greasy and it's easier to maintain.

Hi Oktavist, I honestly don't have an opinion or a preference, I think people should be allowed to wear their hair anyway they want..regardless of what little snipped remark that people might make about...If it doesn't inter with your jobm hey do what you want to do with your hair...I say that because I known people don't always like my hair but do I care, that would be a "NO",

This is a good opinion you have.Indeed, people shouldn't judge what the appearance of others should be.People indeed are allowed to dress and be whatever they like.It is good that you know the opinion of others but keep to hold onto yours. This sounds like you have a healthy level o self esteem.

My first born has grown his hair long this past year. I think the last time he has his hair cut short was just before his high school graduation about 9 months ago. This is the first time he has ever let his hair grown long. None of my other sons have ever done something like that, either. And I do not feel any difference with that; I do feel it is just a natural thing that he decided to experience that choice.

When I was younger,I could count the times I went to cut my hair on one hand.I used to brag about it.Now I regularly cut my hair, and as you said,I don't feel changed and I don't feel that the people's perception about me changed that much.Maybe the first time, when they saw me with my hair cut.But since then I have been perceived the same.

Hi, I saw some little boys (below 7 years old) have their hair cut but just leave a strand of long hair behind. Some parents think it's cool. If I have a boy, I won't do that. I don't want my child look different to anyone else . I think being common is good for children.

No,no,no,no,no.I have seen this for as long I remember. In my opinion, that doesn't even look good.I mean, from the front it's OK...from the side...Mm,it's a little good too.But when the child turns back, behold! The strangest hair style of all time.At least for me. I have nothing to do with people's hair.I like a full head of hair,I like a bald head. But I seem to have problems getting used to transitional stages.

Personally I am not attracted to a man with long hair, that doesn't mean that it can't look good on a guy though. Typically I think a guy will only look good with long hair if he has the personality to go with it and manly features, I wouldn't want to mistake him for a woman.

Long hair... - ...goes in and out of fashion.
For much of Man's history, long hair has been in fashion for men, at least in the West. I think it's fair to say that after the First World War, extreme short hair became widespread among Western men, even though shorter hair had been fashionable for some time: however, unless I'm mistaken, in the '20s, it was shorter than ever, and almost uniformly so. Hair and clothing for men were pretty uniformly sober in Britain, the US and other nations throughout the 30s, 40s and 50s, as well as the early part of the 60s. But with the rise of the '60s youth culture, long hair (and dandified clothing) started being fashionable again, and this reached an extreme by the end of the decade. By this time, long hair was viewed as a symbol of youthful rebellion, and sporting long hair an act of defiance which could result in extreme reactions, especially in conservative areas. By the early to mid 70s, long hair had become mainstream and widespread throughout the West, so that when Punk Rock exploded in London in 1976-77, it was to some extent reacting against long hair: Punks wore their hair short in defiance of the prevalence of long hair. By the 80s, I'd say hair became a matter of choice, with some young people favouring long hair, and others short. But I think it's right to say that short hair has become increasingly dominant since then, so that today, long hair tends to be identified with certain groups perhaps. Such as older guys who still dress in a Rock and Roll style. Younger guys who favour certain music styles such as Heavy Metal, Indie and so on. Folks into the classic Hippie culture. Some male models; some Rock and Pop stars, and so on. But it's not widespread. Therefore, it does stand out, and there may be some people who may not like it. Personally as a Christian and by choice I prefer short hair; but from time to time, I do sport long hair, but not for any other reason than I don't like getting my hair cut, not for fashionable reasons. When it gets too long, I'll get it cut. If I had the money, I'd probably keep my hair short all the time.

I don't like boys who have long hair. Perhaps I am still a traditional person. I don't think men will look good with long hair. I especially like men with crew cut and they will be so handsome. I love China

I prefer men to be in clean cut short hair. Long hair is only for women. A long haired man does not look neat and manly to me. In most cases a man who keeps long hair could be gay (closet queen) so I don't really like a man with long hair.

Boys with long hair is not always bad people. You can't judge people by the cover. Please look around of you.People who have short hair, with expensive shirt, rich man style, and guess what? He was a bad guy, kill the people.Performance can't show personality and attitude.many people with long hair have a good attitude for street children, animal population, etc. The point is everyone has different own style.

Oktavist I was never used to long hair on boys but I try to keep an open mind and as long as the hair is clean and kept, I say it's just fine.

Well, yes.Keeping an open mind is a very healthy perspective. You need to accept and to understand other people's choices,as they need to understand and comply to yours. There isn't any good in arguing with someone that,in your opinion,he doesn't meet your standards of appearance. It is good to understand people as they are.

I had a one-length shouldered level hair before, it was in the era of 1970s retro. I was a child back then, my father and his friends had this kind of hair style that time. I don't think it is an issue, long-haired guys featured in fashion industries. But some, it is not possible in countries influenced by their cultures.

It's so common any more that I don't pay much attention to it. I used to give me a little start when I saw a business man in a suit and tie with his long hair neatly tied back, but that doesn't even surprise me any more. It's all just a matter of style. I don't know if it's natural or not, but since hair naturally keeps on growing, maybe it is!

I love seeing boys with long hair ,blown out , braid or in pony tail. My fiance normally had his beautiful pony tail before he start working and had to cut it. I find that alot of elder would have those kinda attitude , you should not do this and dont do that ! bla bla bla I see its has natural as they come , nothing is wrong with how a person like to look and feel comfortable

Nothing personal, its their prerogative and if they feel better that way then they have all the right to enjoy having one. But I prefer seeing one in normal haircut as to me this style projects a clean and gentlemanly image.

In totality I don't like it, I want boys who looks like real boy. Most boys with long hair has a character that they want to play, they have several reasons. My bf's bandmate/friend has long hair and he's a medium built. My bf's mom mistakenly thought that he's gay, the moment the old woman told us, we laugh. They even said that we looked a like, he's think and we are on the same height.
