Which of the two do you prefer prepaid or postpaid phone lines. Most people here are using prepaid because some of them just would buy load if they have to call and text someone. I also use prepaid because I do not text to much or call anyone but my mother have postpaid lines in two networks. She always calls her friend and my father before so she needed it.How about you guys?

I prefer prepaid. I used to have postpaid, but the monthly bill was ridiculous. And I didn't like being stuck with a contract. Plus, I don't use my phone much, so prepaid works well for me. It does what it's supposed to...most of the time, just like the postpaid did. The only difference is there are more features on my prepaid phone. So I'm happy with it for the most part.
Happy mylotting!

Prepaid is 3 times the price where I live . Even so I had it for a long time because I didn't make many calls. $25 American would last me two or three months. Now there is a new plan for $25 a month for unlimited calls. I switched over. I no longer use my house phone for outgoing calls.

I have been using postpaid connection from past 5 years, but now I wish to change to prepaid. Today itself I'll be submitting the details required to change to prepaid as from tomorrow will begin a new month. My reason for changing the connection is that in postpaid I have to pay the fixed amount every month. Besides that I have to pay the usage charges then service tax and all. I hope that prepaid connection will bring down my phone bill.

I have prepaid (here and abroad). It's way cheaper for me since I seldom call and mostly use it in case of emergency or to text. Prepaid is way cheaper. I had "postpaid" before but I never used what I paid for every month in advance + extra costs for the calls) so it was a big waste of money.

i have prepaid sim due to two reasons. one i always fail to remember to pay monthly bill in time. and secondly postpaid is more expensive than prepaid.

I would always prefer prepaid than postpaid ones, cause first of all, prepaid ones have lots of promos where you can use for little costs, rather than having postpaid where you don't have the chance to always have those promos and be thrifty aas well. there are times, those promos you don't use that much so, end of it your lost.
having prepaid ones, you can avail promos when you just needed it the most.

I don't know how others think but when I was on a plan, and using postpaid at that, I felt overcharged most often and so does my other neighbors. So I preferred to opt to the prepaid scheme but still others would complain that they are often being robbed of their load.

I used to be a prepaid user ever since I started using cellphone. But now I am into postpaid now due to unlimited internet they offered that is so useful to me like here in mylot. I could log in here anywhere and anytime I want. I used to text and call lot of people now especially friends and work related things.

I prefer and use prepaid. Both my SIMs are on prepaid. Its the feeling of control in our hands that works in favour of it. We are not bound to any contract of paying a certain amount monthly whether or not used. This works great for school and college guys like me. Good day!

Hi. I like prepaid recharging. Because it will be easy and ready to use. Being a student paying bulk amount for postpaid is not affordable. Recharging time to time with available pocket money is so good. Ofcourse postpaid is so useful in some aspects.

the answer to this qusestion totally depends on requirement.
if we just need phon for a chat with friends or general purpose prepaid is bettr shud keep on recharging time to time.
but if you or on some business or you shud make unlimited number of calls postp[aid shud be preffered bcoz its easy and you dont have to keep on recharging from time to time and just pay the bill when it comes to ur house

I used to have a contract phone, and I've also had prepaid. I have prepaid now and I like it. It's a non contract but it still has great deals. I have unlimited everything for $45.00 plus tax a month. I like the deal and want to keep it, however the only problem is getting a new phone. It's not as easy as it is when you have a contract. I have to buy the phone and call to have them transfer the number for me, that can be difficult.

I prefer prepaid because it gives me a control over how much I am using. I don't have much expenditure here because I only call my husband here and hardly anyone else. For calling home I call from the International booths because they are cheaper than mobile. I called home yesterday and spent $30. It is quiet expensive so my Dad said he will call. It is cheap to call from Fiji. India is expensive.
Otherwise I have the net connected which is postpaid and It is 5GB unlimited plan so The amount we pay is constant every month.
Have a wonderful day ahead.

I have tried both and I prefer the prepaid ones. I find it more practical than the postpaid plans because in prepaid, I pay for what I use. In postpaid, whether you consume your plan or not you pay it all. And if you exceed, you pay more. While in prepaid, if you use it all the. It's all paid. If not, you can still use it for next month depending on the expiry date of your load card which is usually more than 30 days. Last year I had all my postpaid lines cut and now I have two networks in prepaid. I can therefore have more control with my phone calls and SMS.

i use prepaid sim, i find it more convenient to use. i do make lots of calls n text too. i just use sms packs, which are very cheap now a days.
also i can recharge my balance any time, anywhere.
i dont have to wait for the postpaid bill to come. then i have to go and pay it. its just waste of time for me.
and about making too many calls, you can just recharge with higher amount. more balance, more calls, simple.
