Is there an age limit when it comes to pursuing your dreams? If there is have I already passed it? Three years ago I felt like I could anything I put my mind into I fantasized about becoming a singer, model, actor and entrepreneur I made myself believe I was the hottest thing that was happening in the world. But even with all this in my head I let criticisms, mostly from my parents, drain my confidence and now I'm a college student whose not even sure what course to take wondering what would have happened if I hadn't let all the opportunities that were given to me slip away.

I can understand your feelings. But i think dreams dont come with any age or time. You have to go for it and give your best to achieve it. dreams can be achieved at any age. what is important is the determination and the passion to achieve it. what say?

Thanks, yeah I think your right I guess as long as you have enough passion for something you can make something out of it your and age shouldn't drag you down.

There should be no age limit to dreaming. When you stop dreaming then you are telling yourself that you are too old for anything good or new to happen. Fantasising is not the way to pursue your dreams, a real dream must begin in the real world. Your world, not your parents world. Being in a college is the first step to achieving your dreams, so be realistic, check out your ideas with someone who has your best interests at heart. Meantime work on ways to build your confidence and then nothing is going to stop you.

Hi,
Welcome to mylot. You have to chose one thing and try to achieve that with more efforts. You have to concentrate on the one thing at a time. When we are doing something different we have to face opposition of other people. But it is our testing time. So you should be firm on decision and try to convince your parents for that.
