Though I have no idea how many steps I have, as my step counter is acting up (won't open). I'll just keep carrying it with me, and hopefully it will decide to work (open) later today. I took a walk initially to...

Do you sometimes worry about silly things?
Things that are never going to happen.
Do you worry about What if things?
And those what if things are never going to happen.
I think it is normal to worry.
But do not worry to much and...

41Combedale I do worry but not for too long. Once I realise that I am doing so I remind myself of a verse from the bible that says 'cast all your cares on Him for he cares for you'. Remembering that God loves me starts to lift my worries and gives me positive thoughts....

Sadly, I didn't have funds for a laundry cleaning so I washed the clothes myself. But I wasn't alone, instead surrounded by my dogs. It's just sad that I don't walk them anymore, I have trouble waking up early.
There's no...

The photo shows the magnificent trifle that my sister-in-law made for our Christmas dinner. It was delicious. The glass bowl showed off the various layers nicely but there was way, way too much for four of us.
The Swiss roll...

I read a nice feel-good story on our local news feed. Newman Police Station is located 1,170 kilometres north-east of Perth. In 2020, they adopted a tabby kitten which is now considered one of the team. He is now known as PC...

This year has been a good year in many ways. I have so much to be thankful for. I hope you do too.
It's still 2024 in central United States. The east coast just entered 2025. So, I have time to tell you what I'm thankful for this...

Well, are you a gift bag user, or a wrapper? I used to wrap everyone’s presents, and I’d get really creative in how I adorned the paper. Two years ago, I just got weary of it, and went to all gift bags. As you can see, on...

41Combedale I have become a bag user. Although I do enjoy the suspense of receiving a beautifully wrapped parcel I am quite unable to produce one for my gifts to others. So the bag is useful, it can be enhanced with ribbons and my artistic friends usually do this. The...

When I woke up this morning, I felt a tad chilly around the edges, in spite of my flannel sheet and toasty comforter.
My first thoughts was, I wonder if it made into the 30s last night. It only freezes (32) here now and again,...

41Combedale Changing things around the house is such a good idea, it is better than moving and you get a sense of fresh beginnings which I am sure we all need from time to time. You have lots of caring friends a good husband and prepared meals. Much to praise God for!

41Combedale The habits that annoy me are mostly spoken ones. For instance, continually repeating "you know what I mean?"
I am irritated too with people ending a sentence on an upturn, as though it is a question, wheereas it really is the end of a sentence and should...
