Do you sometimes worry about silly things?
Things that are never going to happen.
Do you worry about What if things?
And those what if things are never going to happen.
I think it is normal to worry.
But do not worry to much and make yourself sick from worry.
The picture is mine taken from a painting in the hospital.

I too worry a lot. I make myself sick from that. I have never really been 100% happy.

I think it's another human nature type of thing. We're worries by nature because fear of the unknown is one we all share.

@kaylachan yeah true indeed. The fear of the unknown drives anxiety and worry and then indirectly stress

I would say I probably worry too much, but I come from a long line of worriers.. It is a family trait. However, it isn't severe enough to be considered an anxiety disorder

I think I hold a doctorate in that. LOL
Yesterday, washing machine gave way. There was a sound, and a few seconds later, some fumes...so I pulled out the clothes, switched it off and waited with baited breath that there should be no fire, because I did see the heater coil smoldering..red hot. Sai Baba ensured that there was no fire. I have been asking Dad to replace it, but he does not listen to me.
My concern is, the switch is on the other side. Should anything adverse happen (fire) ..it will be difficult to switch off the machine. Its a 20 odd year old machine...it should be retired. If there is a fire, there is no way we can control it because it relates to an electrical equipment.
Yeah...it worries me, but Dad is unwilling to listen to me...even if it risks the lives and properties of others in the building.
I age faster because of this man.

I try not to worry cause it does not do much good. If there is something you can do, for pete's sake do it. If there is nothing you can do, do not let it take up space in your heart and mind.

I cannot afford to worry, I take each day at a time and start it with prayer because if I do not resolve everything and get myself worried it means I up my anxiety and then I am no good to anyone,

There are times at which my brain does compute or visualize the what if scenarios. Some of the things could be negative and I immediately move away from that thought. Well, I have slowly realized that there is enough things to worry at present and I need not add the What if scenarios as well into my head. So , I have completely elimiated those thoughts for now. I am working on eliminating my current worries. I believe with that approach , the anxiety and worries could be lessened and life could be better enjoyed. It is getting better with this approach although there is a long way to go. Take care!

I worry, but never anything that does not matter. I may worry all the dumb things I say on Mylot but I know me and its never as good or as bad as I think.

I do worry but not for too long. Once I realise that I am doing so I remind myself of a verse from the bible that says 'cast all your cares on Him for he cares for you'. Remembering that God loves me starts to lift my worries and gives me positive thoughts. The cup that was half empty becomes half full.

I have an anxiety disorder, so yes, I worry. Not as much as I used to, but it’s still there.

I do, I tend to overthink and stress myself out over things that end up working themselves out in the end
