Do you sometimes worry about silly things?
Things that are never going to happen.
Do you worry about What if things?
And those what if things are never going to happen.
I think it is normal to worry.
But do not worry to much and make yourself sick from worry.
The picture is mine taken from a painting in the hospital.

I too worry a lot. I make myself sick from that. I have never really been 100% happy.

I would say I probably worry too much, but I come from a long line of worriers.. It is a family trait. However, it isn't severe enough to be considered an anxiety disorder

I think I hold a doctorate in that. LOL
Yesterday, washing machine gave way. There was a sound, and a few seconds later, some fumes...so I pulled out the clothes, switched it off and waited with baited breath that there should be no fire, because I did see the heater coil smoldering..red hot. Sai Baba ensured that there was no fire. I have been asking Dad to replace it, but he does not listen to me.
My concern is, the switch is on the other side. Should anything adverse happen (fire) ..it will be difficult to switch off the machine. Its a 20 odd year old machine...it should be retired. If there is a fire, there is no way we can control it because it relates to an electrical equipment.
Yeah...it worries me, but Dad is unwilling to listen to me...even if it risks the lives and properties of others in the building.
I age faster because of this man.

I think it's another human nature type of thing. We're worries by nature because fear of the unknown is one we all share.

@kaylachan yeah true indeed. The fear of the unknown drives anxiety and worry and then indirectly stress

@jstory07 Yes, it's bad enough that I can only see him once a week; but then he's also confused; AND he's not getting any physical therapy.

I do. You could definitely call me a worry wort. Latest worry the amount of recent snow we were getting.
Your right, especially when you have no control over what you are worrying about.

To be honest; yes;_I do sometimes worry about things I don't like to happen; but feel they would. Sometimes my apprehensions get realized and sometimes not. But I never let myself be disappointed.

I try not to worry cause it does not do much good. If there is something you can do, for pete's sake do it. If there is nothing you can do, do not let it take up space in your heart and mind.

Yes. But what makes me feel a bit calm is knowing that worrying is sin, that God never want us to worry just trust on Him. And it turn out to be okay everytime I surrender everything to Him, because if not, I think Im going to be insane or depressed. Happy to know that we have a God who is patient to us and loving, faithful and forever will love us and will never abandon us.

I do worry but not for too long. Once I realise that I am doing so I remind myself of a verse from the bible that says 'cast all your cares on Him for he cares for you'. Remembering that God loves me starts to lift my worries and gives me positive thoughts. The cup that was half empty becomes half full.

I do, I tend to overthink and stress myself out over things that end up working themselves out in the end
