I can tell it's a bit cold outside. How's the weather where you are? Any snow?

When I woke up this morning, I felt a tad chilly around the edges, in spite of my flannel sheet and toasty comforter. My first thoughts was, I wonder if it made into the 30s last night. It only freezes (32) here now and again, even in Winter, and the lowest low I can remember was 19 F a few years ago. Yep. It hit 37 here last night, and is in the low 40s right now (9:15 AM). The high will probably be just above 50 F.. The sun is shining, so there's nothing to "trap the warm air in." I don't know exactly what that means, but you get the idea. Any weather experts out there? In any case, how is the weather where you are on this New Years Eve Eve Monday?

The high is 68 today, but will fall into the 40s tomorrow. I’m looking forward to chilly weather myself. I like getting under a warm blanket. The only problem is my dog is a blanket hogger.

@TheHorse Cold feet, cold floors, sleeping in heavy garments , blankets in use. It is a result of the cold arctic air which will be heading our way from up North. Lasts for 2 or 3 days and we are told this January will be colder than previous Januarys.

We had that early morning deep fog this morning - totally cool. But it burned out a long time ago - and now it's sunny warm. Apparently high 60s but feels warmer than that. And it's supposed to get crazy windy later - it's not at the moment.

After a dreadful drought lall the summer the winter has now arrived and it is raining. Too late for much of our garden which suffered this year. It was wet and cold on christmas Day. We went to a carol service and then to meet others at a coffee place which we used in the summer. It is quite open there, great in the summer, but only three of us were there for coffee, it was cold and windy.

The last few days we have been having quite cold days. Primary reason was good rains on Friday i.e. 27th of December. Sunday Evening was particularly Chilly. I was outside and the cold winds seemed to blow from North Pole !! The maximum temperature is around 14 to 15 C and lows are around 10 to 11 C but dipping down. The testing thing are the winds. In fact, it is the cold winds that test people most in the cold weather. I hope that you and Kitty stay warm. Here it is 23:16 i.e. just 44 minutes to the New Year.

During the day is warm for the season, but the nights are cold, usually around 38 F / 0º C. No snow also this year.

After a few soggy days we have hazy sun, Temps in the evenings in the 60s and during the day in the low 70s. I have always found it an amusing thought that if the temps got way down in Florida what people would do and think if they woke up in the morning to find snow on the ground,

I am staying at a place where the temperature is 30C. Yes, it is warm and no rain and yet to see any cool atmosphere. Usually , this time fo year , should have been cool. Well, guess it is the new climate change and we need to adapt to those. You get tired after spending time outdoors especially during morning and noon. Well, it has been some year and with some joys and some not so great moments. Good to know how you have been doing .There are lot of things to do in 2025. Well , enjoy the time!
