Good morning myLot

Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 53 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 60 which sounds wonderful to me for December. I have been up since I don't even know. I napped yesterday afternoon and then was up late. . . and then *someone* showed up at midnight and just left about half an hour ago. It is safe to say that I will be taking a nice long nap later today. For now though I am staying awake and powering through. I need to go see if my glasses can be fixed or if I need to get new ones. I also want to go tanning and hit up the grocery store and dispensary. If I'm finally going to leave this apartment then I'd might as well get everything done in one trip. No big plans for the day other than just doing errands and puttering about here. What's everyone else up to today?

Sorry to hear that, I hope you got something from the doctor. Yours was a nice hot Christmas, ours here in Greece was wet and gloomy. The Christmas tree did its best and we attended two Carol services and watched another on UTube. So in the end it felt like a real Christmas in spite of the dismal weather.

I took some aluminum cans to the no-kill animal shelter, I’ve had lunch, and now it’s time to stock the pantry for the dirty S word. Can’t leave because of appointments for two weeks, and the S word is supposed to show up this weekend.

I will watch the New Year's Eve festivities on TV tonight. No other plans. It will be weird to be alone on New Year's Eve after 57 years with my husband. Have a good one!
