This year has been a good year in many ways. I have so much to be thankful for. I hope you do too.
It's still 2024 in central United States. The east coast just entered 2025. So, I have time to tell you what I'm thankful for this year.
I'm thankful for my children. They are amazing people, including the one who disowned me. He disowned me, but I still love him. That won't change.
I'm thankful for the wonderful relationship I have with my younger son and daughter. They always have a way of surprising me and taking me off guard.
I'm thankful for the ability to write. I finished two books this year. I finished Love's Illusions on 4 January and Guns of War on 31 August.
I'm thankful for the amazing friends I have. They encourage me and aren't afraid to tell me like it is when I need a word that could send me over the edge, but never does. I can take it. It helped make me the person I am today.
I'm thankful for my online friends. I'm so glad I can talk to a few of you. You make my day.
I'm thankful for my church family. I have a wonderful pastor who isn't afraid to preach the unadulterated Word of God.
I'm thankful for the Tuesday Bible Study ladies. I've learned so much this year.
I'm thankful for the Bible study in the complex. There's always something new to learn about God and His amazing love.
I'm thankful for my relationshipe with Jesus my Savior. I can turn everything over to Him so I can remain worry free. He always takes care of the details in my life.
I'm thankful I changed doctors this year. My new primary is wonderful and cares. He listens. Something my other doctor didn't do.
I'm thankful for the phone call from my daughter a couple weeks ago with the opportunity to go on a vacation in March with my family. I will see my daughter's entire family, plus my younger son. My great-grandson is three years old and I haven't seen him yet. I'm so looking forward to seeing my grandchildren. It will be a wonderful vacation.
I'm thankful for the letter I got from Housing last weekend. I'm now on the active waiting list for an apartment close to my son.
I'm thankful for the books I'm working on and hope to publish in 2025.
As you can see, I have much to be thankful for. I know this list is incomplete. God continues to multiply His blessings in my life.
Thirty-four minutes to midnight and a new year in central United States. Time for me to wish you all a wonderful and blessed Happy New Year. I hope all your goals for 2025 come about.
And not to forget today. I'm thankful for getting the laundry done this morning. Along with stripping my bed and remaking it.
I'm thankful for the New Years Eve lunch with the Bible study ladies.
I'm thankful for getting my shopping done after lunch. I have all the food prepped for my New Year's Day open house.
I'm thankful I got all the garbage down to the dumpster less than an hour ago.
And I'm thankful I could get onto the site and spend the last hour of 2024 with you. Tomorrow I'll post about my 2025 goals.
What were you thankful for in 2024? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me. Happy New Year! The fireworks were from Fourth of July a couple of years ago, but I thought it appropriate to bring in the new year.

I am thankful that my husband is still alive. Every time I see him so thin and frail, I worry about him. He's not the robust, walking, driving man that I knew on February 1. I can only pray that 2025 will be a good year for us. You have so much to be thankful for. I am getting my book published in 2025. That was a lifelong dream of mine. Happy New Year!!!

Im glad to see the what you're thankful for today post, even if this was yesterday. It reminds me to be thankful for something everyday. Even if it's something as simmple as my husband's continued existance on this Earth. To the fact he's here, with me still is simply amaxing.

We are thankful to have a peace and quiet new year. With no quarrel with any one. And not much fire works because the dogs are traumatized by them.
