At the moment, I feel like I'm very obsessed with Linkin Park. I've bought some much of their stuff, and some of it is useless as I can just go on youtube/piratebay and get all of this free :p

any person who has a good taste in music and has listen to linkin park would be obsessed with them, whenever i listen to them i feel a new energy in my soul. these guys rock

Nothing wrong with wanting to support the people who make the music you like, man. Well, as long as you're not spending money that you can't spare. If you can afford to legally buy their music, then it's not a waste of money or a bad obsession.
'Sides, buying stuff = voting with your wallet. If more people paid for good music and only pirated crap that isn't worth paying for, maybe more bands/singers would stop pouring out crap and start actually making music.
