Bubblegum can be bought for the taste,or for the fact that covers the smell of a mouth.I buy it for the seconds one,but I like the first, too.
What I have seen everywhere is that people overdo on bubblegums. They may take more than one and shove them through their mouths,or they make take just one and chew it in a way that makes you take it off from them.
Personally,I do not like it when I try to have a normal discussion with someone and that someone starts chewing that gum in a demeaning manner. And sometimes, during our discussions, some make bubbles...I feel I can't really talk with that person?
What's your opinion on chewing bubblegum?Do you like bubblegum? What's your opinion on people who chew bubblegum in EVERY moment, like in a discussion, meeting, etc.

I think it's acceptable to chew bubblegum, I just don't want to see someone chewing it like a horse and smacking in my face. I find that I chew a lot of bubblegum when I'm at work, I work as a customer service representative in a call centre so I find chewing the gum to be a stress relief instead of saying something to a customer that would get me fired from my job.

Good evenind dear mylloter friend Oktavist , personally i rarely chew whewing gum , but when i do it , it is mostly in some mornings before i arrive in the working place change room , and thats not because i dont brush my teeth in the morning , but i sadely have a verry bad and unhealthy habbit and thats smoking . As for those people whom are chewing gum most of the time and every moment , my personal believe its because they have created an addiction or simply like chewing gum , but they dont bother me at all.
I wish you a great evening dear Oktavist.
Florin.

I have to say I don't know anyone who chews bubblegum. As to chewing gum, well it can look very cool, especially when chewd on stage by Rock musicians. But there is nothing cool about a great juicy wad of pink bubblegum, especially if bubbles are being blown...:) I used to chew chewing gum when I was a teenager, because I felt it kept my mouth fresh; but I've not used chewing gum for ages now. As to bubblegum, I used to love it as a kid. I used to collect bubblegum cards as I recall, it was great fun; I can still recall the taste now. There was a time in the playground when I was a kid, I think one of the teachers handed out bubblegum, but I didn't get any. So many of the kids had bubblegum, but all I had was a crumby piece of chewing gum. i can remember one of the kids asking me if I was chewing bubblegum, and I had to admit, perhaps sheepishly, that, no, in fact, i was chewing plain chewing gum. I think i can remember this kid showing off his bubblegum, bubbles and all, and then taking off with a big smile. Man, I envied those bubblegum kids!

When I was young i love to chew bubblegum and make a big balloons afterwards but now that i grew up I preferred to have mint candies that chewing bubblegum. I think for those people chewing bubblegum during meetings or discussion is kinda rude because because instead of focusing in the important matter they more focus on chewing gum.

There are definitely pros and cons to bubblebum. I know a lot of people that use it to try and satisfy and oral fixation, like smoking or eating, which seems to work. Not all too sure about the breath thing though (I am an Altoids guy myself).
People can do what they will, but what bugs me about gum is that in the wrong mouth, it can be incredibly annoying. I'm talking of course about the loud-chewers and the snappers, the bubble-blowers and otherwise noise-makers. This perception of annoying is different for everyone, but that's just my view. To each his own I suppose.

I buy bubble gum for both depending upon the circumstance. If I know my breath does not stink then I buy it for the taste. If it has been a long day and I have to go to a meeting then I buy bubble gum before I go to the meeting. I always discard it before I go to meetings. I do not like to have a conversation with someone that is smacking bubble gum and I give the same respect to others. What I also hate is when I am having a conversation with someone over the phoen and you can hear them smacking. Before any kind of conversation I believe you should discard your bubble gum.

People who are educated chew their bubblegum in a formal way,but people from the street makes many styles in chewing their gums.It could detect someone with education
how he handles his looks and the ways he makes gestures.Do not bother to talk to those types of persons if you do not wanted to be embarrassed by their etiquette to eat a chewing gum.

i used to love bubble gums when i was a kid, until i reached my 6th grade when our teacher scolded us for always eating bubble gum inside the class room lol! she would tell us we are like goats chewing it and from that time on, i rarely eat bubble gum..and later on dislike eating it too.
Now when i eat it, my stomach gets all bloated as chewing bubble gum we swallow a lot more air in our stomach. I do not mind people chewing bubble gum as long as it is not in the office as it gets annoying.

It is sometimes irritating to see poeple chewing gums publicly and obviously. I do chew gums but as much as possible, I try to hide it and I did not make bubbles on it. After I feel that my breath was already fresh, I spit it and thorw it away.

I also chew bubblegum but for its sugar rush. Although I buy those that are sugarfree, I like chewing it when I was on commute and getting sleepy. I agree with you that this is really not good when you are talking to someone. The person gets distracted and not people look good when chewing lol!

Yes, I do like chewing bubblegum. I like how it feels in my mouth and how it tastes too. Anyway, I don't usually pay attention to other people if they chew gum too much. If they do, I just ignore it and move on with my day. The only time I have felt irritated about someone chewing gum is when they are trying to converse with me. When someone talks to me while chewing gum, it's not only unsightly to see, but it can also be disrespectful.

I also chew chewing/bubble gum and always have one in my bag particularly while travelling or feeling that my mouth is dry and i don't have a drink at hand. But i dispose this once i need to talk for a longer period with someone as i myself find it distracting talking to someone who keep on munching during our conversation.

I like bubble gums, when I feel sleepy and I'm at work, I chew bubble gum. And it tends to relieve stress too based on my experience. And it can serve as breath freshener but I hate it when someone pops bubble gums and it bugs me.

I sometime liked chewing the bubblegum before. But stopped never have it in my mouth after the experience in one exhibition in Shanghai. Our company had a product show there and I was in the booth to meet the clients from all over the world and introduce our product to them. One day, one gentle man , seemed from Mid-east country, came to me and started to talk to me. I was chewing a pc of bubblegum in my mouth at that time and had no chance to spit it out to the spam trash. So I talked and answered his questions about our products and leaded him to see the samples in the booth here and there.
After a few minutes, he stopped talking and left. My boss came into the booth by chance and saw his back only. My boss told me this guy was our company's old client before and he had told my boss to wait him in the booth. But I was chewing the gum! The bad smell may have made him uncomfortable so he left!
