It's official. Mar Roxas is now the new DILG chief. Though job to tackle after what Sec. Robredo had accomplished. What do you think fellow mylotters?

Hello Namiya, How come am not surprised? It's always known that Noynoy would replaced some one ONLY he could trust. therefore, he trusted Roxas more than any one else there. he should have chose Gordon, he's a match to robredo even though he can be bit agressive and arrogant. well, not so much expecting, good luck to him[em]lol

Well, Letran, i think Mar Rozas can fill in the shoes of Robredo. He may not be as humble and simple as Robredo, but i think he too is somebody who has a good heart.
And i agree, Gordon is also a good contender.
Let's give Mar Roxas the chance to prove himself too.

i think that mar roxas has a very big shoe to fill in. sec jesse was good in his job although he was not duly recognized and duly appointed. I hope that mar roxas will equate what sec jesse has done or finish what was started because the whole country will be looking at him closely now.

Really? Well if that's the case, it will be hard for him to handle the pressure that will throw upon him if he will already in that position. Because we all know that we hail to much the late DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo for being an icon of good governance. :)

let's just wish and pray that he will do a good job too. i think it would not be fair if we kept comparing him with Sec Robredo as he has a totally different personality. let's just give him a chance to do it his own style and wait for result, then decide if he is worth for a much higher post should he aim for one.

I think it would be hard for him since he has no experience handling any local government unit. But I think he's good enough to be Robredo's successor. Incomparable, but i think he can be as trusted as he is.

it's a tough job. and it's a tough act to follow after secretary jesse robredo. i am not sure why mar roxas has taken the job. is this a preparation for his 2016 presidential ambition? i think vice president binay or ping lacson or bayani can do the job well since they have experiences in the local governemnt and handling the police and bureaucracy.

I don't think Roxas would match what Sec. Robredo had done as a DILG Secretary. I think its the good ole "traditional politics" that will again emerge on the part of Roxas. And I'm 100% sure that he will simply make the DILG office as a platform for his candidacy in 2016.

Let us give him time to deal with the job as chief of DILG. Then, we can just a throw comments after seeing the performance. This is a sudden turn over, the job seems so difficult to grasp.
