Sorry for my late reply. According to what you said, I think the size is big for normal phone function and that's why you find it has more function like a computer. The evolution has been made to make a cell phone to do computer's function and not the vice versa as we never seen any company try to make a computer to runs cell phone function.

Yes willianjisir, smart phone is bigger cause they try to put inside it all function as you can have in computer. They's why they make it big. But if we look the other way round, it could be the computer manufacture can compete with the smart phone manufacturer by producing small computer even smaller than netbook that we can see in market now, by just adding the calling function with smooth voice to voice communication. They have that function now but it's not efficient and smooth as we use cell phone. I think they can do it easily. But, I'm not sure why this idea did not make the computer manufacturer to invent it in their new product line, maybe to give chance to cell phone manufacturer to have some business.

Hahaha... how could it will be transparent cellphone? Can you describe it? Maybe cellphone manufacturer can use your idea and make it real in the market. You are right, this is how technology evolves, thing get change when new technology invented. Actually it's depends if we can make use of it in our daily life. The new technology won't suite anyone. For people who use to made forex trading, this smart phone will be very useful to them as they don't have to bring their laptop everywhere to do trading. Just enough using their smart bigger phone.

That's the exact idea what they are trying to do right now. Convert the cell phone to a computer and convert the computer to a cell phone. They try to put a side the function of these devices originally. Why don't they choose one? Either making the cell phone becomes computer or making the computer carrying cell phone function. It's likely, computer can carry cell phone function but this will ignore our convenience, a handy cell phone. If they do so, more likely cell phone company will have nothing to sell.

I have that impression from my friend as well. As a result, I sell it and turn back to my lovely cute cell phone. It make me feel ashamed to answer a call in public. It also difficult to put it at right place in my car cause someone always sit at the customer front sit, otherwise I can put it on the sit. In other words, it's difficult to handle it.

I agree. It's better to use phones that fit the size of my hand. I'm Asian so definitely I need smaller phones.

I like your point there, bigger smart phone suitable for people to do their computing job while they are on the go. But, what the point to have laptop, smartphone and cellphone at the same time? Maybe laptop not fast enough when surfing or working with microsoft word, or maybe the cellphone don't offer convenience when we do some office work outside and then they come out with the idea of smart bigger phone or tablet. But, I think it's just not the good idea. Everything still go to new idea, trending and technology.

I actually have this phone. I agree that it's huge. However, my pockets are much larger so it fits, but at a cost of taking up most of my right pocket.

How if I'm using smart phone and put it in my backpack when suddenly there's incoming call? I got to put my bag down, open the bag, take out the smart phone then look whose calling before answering. I think these processes will make the incoming call become miss call. Then I will have to use my credit to call back. I think this is annoying. Or do you suggest to have basic phone and smart phone?
