1st Day of the ber Months

Good morning, mylotters. Today is the first day of September and marks the start of the cold season. I am really excited, days are passing so quickly. In two months time, we will be visiting the Philippines to see our family. We're looking forward to feel the cold weather too especially here in the Middle East. I'm optimistic for the good things that the ber months has for us. The best are yet to come in this time of the year. Yay!

Indeed, here in the Philippines, the Christmas spirit is up for the Filipinos. As they say, the Philippines has the longest Christmas celebration, because as early as September, radios are already playing Christmas songs. Enjoy your stay in the Philippines, when you are finally here. Are you a Filipino?

Hi Simplyd. Yeah, I am a Filipino. I forgot to mention Christmas as one of the yearly highlights that I'm looking forward too. Sad to say, it has been three years since I last celebrated Christmas in the Philippines. And this year, we won't be able to spend it there too. Our vacation will be for the month of November only ;(

It's supposed to be the start of warm seasons here, but so far it is still pretty much feel like winter with the cold stormy winds and rain in the last few days...

Hi sishy7. It's cool to have the winter season longer than summer. Here in our place it's mostly summer the whole year and that made us so excited for winter to come. By the way, where is your current location at the moment?

I'm really sorry but I don't know where's Down Under. What's the highest temperature recorded during summer in there? In here, it's around 52 degree Celsius. It is really extremely hot.

I'm here in Down Under... I hope the coming summer this year will not be too extreme. We had some extremely cold nights and early mornings this winter season.

The first day of September reminds us that Christmas is just around the corner. Time to start shopping as early as now to avoid being caught in traffic with the Christmas rush.
