Too many people use the internet's ability to remain anonymous to attack people with small mind thoughtless posts. To often people will say something on line they would never dream of saying to someones face. Worse still are the people who attack someone on line for something they did not even see for themselves, they just read that someone said something that some self appointed watch dog did not agree with and so they join in with the mindless witch hunt. To often a remark is taken out of context or miss quoted and then the Trolls queue up to attack in self righteous anger, with little regard for facts.

The internet is something completely different than the outside world. I don't believe that you can expect the same world outside than what you can currently expect on the internet. While MyLot does enforce to keep people within the safe havens of tolerating other peoples' comments, I'm sure there would be some people that would simply go out of their way to hate on someone. But keep in mind, the internet doesn't have to be like that. Ignorance is blissful when you're not obligated to go to any of the sites listed. There are plenty of people on the internet that are good-minded.
