Vladd67 Have you looked at freelance and Elance? There are loads of people looking for writers there, some of the jobs are not that interesting but they do actually pay so check them out.

Vladd67 Well there is textbroker, Helium has a list of articles people want written and there are always people looking for writers on Freelance and Elance. These all are sites where you write for other people, I am not sure if there are any sites that pay up front...

Making money off one article

I read an article the other day about making money off one article by publishing it on several sites. The problem is that a lot of sites don't allow republishing. What are some sites you republish on?

Vladd67 When I write for say textbroker it gives me a feeling of satisfaction that someone thinks my writing is good enough for them to use. Mind you the small fee helps too.

got three stars in textbroker but no use at all

I have written a sample article in textbroker site and got three stars rating. But I am not getting any orders so far as most of the articles are based on four or five stars, Hence, I am confused to continue the site or not....

Vladd67 I too have got a three star rating and I had no trouble finding orders, in fact I wrote 5 in a week, now I am waiting for them to rate them so I can continue. You just have to keep checking the site.
