Do you like surprises?

To begin with, I really hate surprises. I'm pretty sure that you will say, why? I have the tendency not to feel at ease, too eager to know it. I would rather prefer the unexpected than the intentional surprises. My nasal flares out, especially if the giver will tease and can not even give a hint. I don't like feeling clueless. Do you feel the same way?

hi,
for me it will be okay with me those surprise but of course it will bring some excitement to me when you say surprise, and aside from that my brain will get tired because it will think about what is that surprise awaiting for me.and there are only few people who made me surprise too in my life.

Some surprises are nice, because you don't expect them, when you know in advance it is just not as nice. This is how I feel.

I don't like surprises when they are totaly unexpected to the point I jump! Example when my supervisor Joe cames up behind me and grabs my shoulders! I always scream! He does it to alot of people at work! other wise I don't mind surpises as long as they are good surprises! Like for a birthday!

To actually generalize and say that I like all surprises would be something that would be very bad for me to say. There are some surprises that I do really like, for example when a friend that I haven't seen for a while comes to visit me, that is a surprise that I really do like. However, if the surprise is in terms of someone doing something that they really shouldn't be doing then that is the kind of surprise that I would rather not face in my life at all.

I don't like surprises.
Mainly because I worry that if it is something I do not like, and do not want, people will see from my face my disappointment lol!

I think it really depends on what type of surprise, believe it or not there are different type of surprises. Discovering an extra cash somewhere surely is welcome surprise that i dont mind happening often but unfortunately the reverse is rather true, you're surprised to loose more money.
Any good, positive, or inspiring surprise is a definite welcome to my daily routine.

Oh,definitely! I'd rather be surprised unexpectedly than be told that I will be given a surprise at a given time. The apprehension is killing me!

Well, dear friend, I think, pretty much like you. I also do not like surprises. Also because, unfortunately, in recent times, these have almost always proved negative!
I prefer to know things in advance, and those important than all the rest ...
Of course, sometimes we all enjoy it when it comes unexpected good news, this is clear, but, you know, better go careful because the bad news, it runs faster and faster!

I hate surprises but I'm always surprising someone else. Lol I surprise my mom by coming home expectedly. I surprise my special someone with small trinkets and I surprise myself when I actually remember something.

You're so the same as my girlfriend does when it comes to surprises. Whenever I tell her I have a surprise for her, let's say on an upcoming date, she will force me to tell what my surprise is. She cannot wait for the date to come, so eager to know what it is. Well, you differ in a way that she loves when I have a surprise for her. She just can't wait to know what the surprise is :).

i don't like surprises. I'd rather have all the fun of looking forward to the event, time to prepare and enjoy the anticipation, no matter what the event may be, than to only have the event itself....

I also react badly to surprises. I need time to be prepared because I am always guarded in what I say to others. I would never like to say anything hateful to anyone and often a surprise is not taken as it was intended.

I don´t know what type of surprises are you talking about. I have had a couple of surprise birthday parties in my life and I loved them. For a surprise has nothing to do with teasing and that dumb thing about telling you if you´d like to know and then don´t tell you. That might be accepted when we are children, but not later in life.

Hi shavkat: I like some surprises but I don't like too much waiting and expectation. My reaction would be: tell me! I don't want to wait and I will not try to guess what is my surprise.

Yep, I'm such a sore when I'm not in on the secret. Even though I know that it's going to be for me and it's gonna be nice, I still won't give it a rest until I satisfied my curiosity. I always ruin surprises because I always make it a point to discover. I just can't wait lol!
