My friend and I went to a beach. It is a long weekend plus the holiday. I asked my friend to walk at the beach side, to look for an interesting sight. While walking, I step to something that made me stumbled to the sand. When I stood up and checked, I saw this fish laid on the sand, it really looks like a monster from the ocean. The eyes are so big and the mouth is open with the tongue sticking out. So I decided to take a picture of it, as remembrance. Since I got an abrasions at my left knee cap due to that incident. I was just thinking, is this really a monster creature in the sea? sea monster?

There are many kinds of monsters that fisherman considered.
The fish looks scary- but I can't imagine how big it is to be considered as monster.
Hope you're not hurt that much.

Well, do not think just badly animals. It is probably a poor fish that has run aground on the beach and he was dying!
It may be because I am an ecologist and respect all signs of life on earth, then in my opinion because having to define a "monster" an unusual looking fish?
Infuse animals, do you think, how they see us?
Yes, I am referring to humans who exploit animals unnecessarily, harm them and make them suffer!

I am sorry that you got hurt but I am glad you posted a picture of this fish. I dont think its a sea monster no lol but it is a type of fish that is very scary looking. I would never want to swim in the water there with those kinds of fish. Look at the teeth on that thing wow. I'm sure someone here may be able to tell you what kind of fish it is.

From looking at the picture it looks like a deep sea fish. They tend to wash up every now and then and really do look like monsters. They have adapted more to living in the darker waters. This is not something you will be seeing in the near future again most likely so consider yourself lucky.

Hello! There are many different fish species that you can find! We do a lot of fishing in the mediterranean sea and when I was younger I read a book with many fish that you can see at the sea waters. Some of them live near the beach and they hide in the sand. This looks like one that stays under the sand and it can cause a lot of pain if you step on it, it was called greater weever. The other one that I had in mind is thescorpionfish which has a large head and its very ugly!

Well, I really don't think that the fish that caused your injury on the beach was a monster, but I do have to say that it really is a strange looking fish. I think I might be afraid to get into the water there knowing that a scary looking fish like that had washed onto the beach.
I've never seen a fish that looks like that, but I am sure that with the vast wealth of knowledge that people on here have there will be someone that will be able to tell you what kind of fish that you had encountered.

hi,
for me the monster in the beach that i am afraid is the jelly fish small but i am afraid because they are itchy to the skin, why you didn't post the picture of that fish,so that we can also see that,i think there is no monster in the sea aside from sharks.
