I'm pretty sure a lot of us have heard or have availed in unlimited texting. I find this service very much useful, specially to those who enjoys texting too much. I myself use to avail unlimited texting for 5 days even though I am really not into texting. My friends told me that what I'm doing is a waste of money and impractical since I don't text too often. But I think this service is pretty useful in times of emergency or in times of information dissemination. So what do you think about unlimited texting guys?

I have also used that service when i was really active in my online selling. Coz when I respond to inquiries via Facebook, I tell them that they could also reach me through my mobile phone for faster transaction. But now that I am mostly just busy with myLot, I no longer use the service. I seldom text and if I do need to reply to a text message I use free online messaging.

Hmm, unlimited messaging is indeed convenient for business transactions. Free online messaging? How do you do that? I want to learn that so that I wouldn't have to buy load.

I will research about this. This will come in handy if I am loadless and I need to text someone. That is of course if I am in an area with Internet service.

Unlimited texting is good if you and your friends text a lot. I talk more than I text, but sometimes I do not feel like talking so I like a text as an option. Talking allows for a conversation that is easier to express. Texting can be hard on the hands. If I am finding myself needing to text more than talk due to the cost of talk and/or the people I communicate with preferring it more, I may consider unlimited texting.

Your welcome. When we try to write the way we talk, sometimes things can get lost in translation.

I agree with you that sometimes it is easier to express things when talking. Because sometimes the meaning of our text message could be read in a different tone and understood deeply. So maybe for serious matters calling should be considered. Thanks.

hi there flapiz!!! i usually avail of unlimited texting myself especially during weekends when i need to stay in touch with my family and friends. back then, i also avail of the 3-day or 5-day unlimited texting promo but then i realize i don't text that often so i just enroll for unlimited texting during the weekends. i do not think it is a waste of money especially if you send out a lot of text. however, if you have limited friends to text, then i can see the point raised by your friends. cheers and happy mylotting!!!

Haha. They told me that because I seldom really text yet I'm always unlimited. I guess I just text when I really need too. Sometimes my unlimited texting expires and I've only sent 10 to 15 message within the 5 days.

I think u limited texting is great for those who are into texting... But that would not be me, for I do not like texting...I think in the time it takes me to text a message, I could have picked up the phone and made a call...I just don't like texting...its just a waste of my time...

Well yes texting is pretty tiresome and calling is better, but isn't calling expensive? In our place I guess calling cost 10 pesos per minute? I'm not quite sure but I know it costs more.

I'm actually more on unlimited surfing on my mobile because I always get emails and IMs from my family and friends abroad, and this for us all, is way cheaper than phone calls and text messages. When I was younger and texting is just making its way to be the youngsters' favorite past time and mode of communication, I would try to use this but I always end up not utilizing it at all.

Really? Unlimited surfing is cheaper? What network is that? Is it also fast? Sometimes unlimited surfing is so loading. Maybe it's just my network.

Generally, I do talk to my friends over the phone, but I find myself doing more texting than calling. So unlimited texting is very useful. It is also much cheaper for me to text than call with my cell phone plan. Having unlimited texting can help you at times where it might be expected. For instance, if you need to get a message across to someone through the phone, texting could be helpful; the person might not be able to respond right away or they are somewhere it is very noisy, which would make texting better than making a regular phone call.

I agree with you on choosing texting when it's noisy. That's one of the reasons why I prefer texting because I have a rather poor hearing. Sometimes when someone calls me I don't answer it because I can't hear.

I have unlimited everything on my phone. I am on my phone now to be on mylot. I text so much that if I had to pay per text it would cost me a lot more then the $47 I pay for the month that I pay straighttalk unlimited service. I used to haveva prepaid tracfone but it was pay per text so I couldnt text all the time. I probably send about 50 texts a day and receive even more then that.

I'm not much of text person myself but with service provider I'm with, AT&T, unlimited text messaging is included with unlimited calls to cell phones... It's $20 extra per month & I get to call any cell phone regardless of what service provider it is... I got it more for that service than free text messages... Most of the people I talk to have cell phone so it works for me...

Ooh. I so wish I could avail that service provider. But I'm from the Philippines and they don't offer that. Good for you though. It seems like a good option.

There are times that we really need to reply to a very urgent text message. And unlimited text is the cheapest load for non-texting addict people like us. Another that I like with this feature is- we can use it to other network without worrying of "check operator" Thanks for the BR mark and have a great day

Not only that, they also give a cheap internet connections. 10MB per day with only $0.1 about IDR1000, also 200MB per week for only $1.2 about IDR9900 with a speed of 7.2mbps. Thats why I really love this cell operator since three years ago. Cause I could use it to update my mobile site and get online in Mylot.

Hi flapiz! I also tried unlimited texting before but since I am not fond of texting I just thought that this is not the best deal for me. As of now I am using trinet. Text, calls and internet time is included in the package. I can participate in mylot using my cellphone because of this load promo.

Well I've heard of trinet, but I haven't tried it yet. Is that for smart buddy or for talk and text? Sorry for asking, as I'm not very much updated.

Yes you are right. It is not necessary to make calls all the time. Texting is good for simple communication. And it is cheaper too.

For me it's a case to case basis. There'll be time that you need to text in bulk but there will also be a time that you'll just need a text or two in a day. Maybe you should project your coming week if you will need an unlimited service in text. One example is if you'll be on a trip for a week, for sure you're gonna need a lot of text and ofcourse for emergency purposes cause you don't know if there's a loading station on the place.

I only used unlimited texting if I have to send many text messages in two to three consecutive days. Yes, it's very useful. Using unlimited promo can save us money than using regular load. We can send text messages anytime and anywhere. We won't worry of getting zero balance. Happy mylotting.

I feel it as a quit important as well as quite profitable service for me. Really it helps us to save a lot of money. By spending little money for this service it allows us to sent unlimited sms through the day. It helps us to send many messages and saves the money of the calls, which is little more heavy. Really I use this service to meet my needs

Yes it does save a lot of money, but some people told me in this discussion that we could save even more through sending text via Internet. The problem though if there is no Internet connection in a certain place.

Me too. Contrary to you, I'm really into texting almost everyday. I enjoy texting with my friends and also have to communicate often with my boyfriend. I was a globe user back then, but it became hard for the budget that I was overwhelmed with Touch Mobile's cheap services. In just 15 pesos, I get to have unlimited texting for two days already and if it's a combo, it has 10 minutes of call and 50 texts to other networks, how cool and cheap is that? My mother doesn't agree with all of this and treats it as a waste of money though even her she is in a unlimited text and call plan.

Hi Lingling, I see that texting and calling is really a big part of your life. I never thought that touch mobile offers such great deals. I am a smart buddy user you see. I would love to switch networks, but there are only a few TM users in my home town.
