CCTV for our branches....

Hi people.
Just an hour left then office hours will be over for this day.
We do have some issues happened last week in one of our provincial branches about personal things and doings inside our branch store.Hearsay and accusations were brought up and reached here at the head office.
Our boss when to that branch to clarify things and to know what's really happening there and talk to people who are involved in the issues.
After confrontation and meeting held, we came up with a decision of putting CCTV in our provincial stores, 5 branches.With this CCTV installed, we could monitor our staff in provincial stores that are far and don't usually visit.
Modern technology like this could really be helpful.
Do you have CCTV in your office?

Yes Ardoy, we have a lot of CCTV installed in the premises of the mall that our company owns. We also have some on the warehouses, so as to catch would be thieves.
But in the office, we don't have any, but on the door entrance we have one. Having one inside would really be bothering. It seems that management is doubtful that we are doing our works. But sometimes it is necessary.

Yeah it could sometimes necessary especially to unknown people or criminals like what we see in the news now a day.I could really helpful to identify thief or criminal to prevent crimes nowadays.

For me, I am not in favor for CCTV. It feels like violating the human rights, employees to be monitored. This is only my opinion.

Yeah somehow it could violate human rights but I guess it just one way of the management to monitor their staffs on the things that they do especially if the store is quite far or in provinces.

It has been many years since I've worked outside the house and when I did work outside the house, I worked for a small company that only had one location and everything that we did was done in house. However, my mother works for a large company and though they don't have CCTV at their business, they do have a lot of same time messaging and things like that which they do and that is something that does work out in their favor.

Dear Ardoy, thank you for sharing this message. But I think the CCTV maybe helpful from point of the managers. But to the average staff, CCTV may be not so welcome.

Yeah it could be favorable to the bosses cause they could monitor their staffs on things that they do.
