One of the most complex practice "Astrology" which is quite evident in India and other asian countries has its roots back in ancient time.
Here in India anytime you turn on a news channel and you will see the so called astrologers solving the queries of the people.
But do you believe them and do you really think this planet and stars affect us?
Be it a chinese astrology, palmistry, western or Indian.Do you believe in any of them.
And if you do so can you share which experience literally put a stamp on your belief?
Is there something more to us than god and ourselves?

Our life does not depends on any stars or moon in the universe but it depends on how God had planned it for us. It does not evolve on anything that are just part of God's creation for we are made special to be on top of everything that He has made.
What we have become and what we will be in the future is a result of the choices that we've made using God's gift of wisdom and freewill.

41CombledaleRoad:
Absolutely! Our life belongs to the one who had created it and everything about it is in His hands.
Rouble92:
It is also written in the Bible that when the end is near many false prophets will come out to deceive people. I guess, many of those money making mongers are one of them. Well, we cannot say who are and who are not and what are and what are not true.

I agree with shello. The Bible regards astrology on a par with 'magic spells and sorceries'Is.47 v12-15 and derides it. I have sometimes glanced through these weekly predictions in magazines and I could have picked several different ones and all would have applied to me in some way or another. In my opinion it is just superstition.

shello:
Yes God is the ultimate reality of life. The ultimate creator of the universe and ourselves.Wishing you a great life ahead.
41CombedaleRoad:
The commentaries of Holy Bible are justifiable.
It's like a magic for those money making mongers who do hit and trial and succeeds in some cases and miserably fail in most of them. But there are very few people who really know more than a thing about astrology. After all its the most complex thing.

I am on the fence when it comes to Astrology. I just do not know but I am willing to give it a chance. I think that we could be affected by stars and planets. The oceans are. Why not us?
However, some years back, I was having some difficult times. I read the Tarot Cards for myself. I read them several times. And every time, I read them the reading said "disaster is going to befall you". The cards said this more or less. I tried several readings and always got the same message. No reading came out positive.
And that is what happened. Disaster did befall me for some time. Things are much better now but I never read the Tarot Cards again.

Life is a miracle and a mystery. There is so much that can not be explained by logic or science even though some will try.
I was having some very bad years when I last read tarot and it would continue to be very difficult for many more years. Everything has greatly improved and my life is now decent. It is not what it should have been but comparatively speaking, it is so much better. I am grateful.
I have not read tarot since the last time many years back when my life was in turmoil. I do not even have tarot cards at this point.

We might be affected by it in some way which can't be explained but you and all of us will agree that in our life something or the other has happened which can not be explained by any logic and which only our lord knows.
Hope everything is falling in place now for you after the tarot card reading episode.
Let us put it this way Ignorance is Bliss.Don't read them if you think it will have something bad for you. Here's wishing you a great and healthy life madam.

Hey cute avatar there.
No one should control our life except our self. That is the main difference between humans and animals(And animals should also be set free where possible,Everybody deserves freedom).
Yes we have everything in our own hands.
Have a great life.

I don't think anyone would benefit by reading astrology, but I've always found chinese astrology to be filthy accurate. Born in 1992, both of the personality and predictions of "monkey" have been right for me, a whopping 100% of the times.

Yes I do believe in astrology. The TV astrologers you mentioned use the shows to attract the new clients only there is nothing true in their speech.
The astrology in India is from many years and if understood correctly it can show all past , current and future of any person.

I knew a girl who used to swear by them... So one day, I picked up a newspaper & started reading my horoscope to her except I told her it was hers... I was born in January & she was born in mid march... She started going off about how accurate it was & the day was going as the horoscope was predicting... Then I said, "Oops... Sorry... That was mine... Yours says something completely opposite...!!!"... She started making excuses as to how sometimes stars cross & this & that... I personally don't believe in that sorta thing...

I don't believe in all this stuff.Once I used to believe it and I was frustrated to know that nothing worked according to it.When it was consulted with an astrologist,he ended up changing names and stuff.Further nothing happened. Then changing names went to going to various temples and doing things to please the star gods. When all failed,it was said, that astrologist don't know much about this and move on to a better guy in some other part of town. Now I am back to square one.Even more frustrated,I give a crap to these things nowadays.

Yeah I can understand your agony dear and may god bless you in future.
I myself have seen many people getting duped from the hands of these so called astrologers who are there to just earn money and digest that in their lockers.
This changing names, wearing stones and other things doesn't help at all.

Hi,
I used to read the horoscope section just for fun way back in my college days. When I realized I don't have to put up with what has been written and could go around on my own, I stopped believing in it, better be determined by my own actions than to be dictated by what is written on the predictions.
Most of the time, the predictions are way too general that I find it hard to believe that thousand of beings on this planet has the same path and destiny, day in and day out.

Hello there,
Yes the ones written in newspapers and magazines are largely generalized and are not accurate at all but there are people in the world who can tell you something you don't know about yourself. But yes most of the life is in our own hands and only we can make or break it.

for me, i used to pay attention to it when i was younger but then as time goes by i noticed that whatever it says isn't really true or happening so nowadays, i don't really care and don't believe in it anymore..i believe whatever happens to us and our lives does not depend on it..this is my own opinion..

I am actually a fan of Astrology. I have these apps on my iphone. I don't really know how they get these information but sometimes they get true. Some information also varies. Like for example on one website they say that I am lucky today, then on another website they say that i am unlucky today. I have been a fan of Astrology because my Mom believes it too. I guess belief in astrology varies from one person to another.

I think astrology can have a valuable insites for humans.Let's mention the prophet Nostradamus;Even though his works on future predictions are mostly opposite to the bible texts, his predictions have more chances of coming true comapared to that of the bible like the Revelation chapter which puts forwards predictions that don't make sense. So i think gaining an understanding for the subject will be very crucial for humanity future.

I admit, i am a believer of pseudoscience however I don't let that manage me. I tend to be assertive and open while reading horoscopes and issues concerning my luck interest me more, i guess like everyone.

Moon in 3rd house persons possess a highly adventurous mind. It is a particularly intellectual sign, so these people need to tackle everything that interests them. Here in the sign of Moon in 3rd house it becomes about the different trades and multi-task

I believe in astrology as much as things I can see and feel. Life is complex and full of mysteries.
