Life happens on my way to MyLot

By the time I respond to this discussion you are already in your dreamland while my day is just about to begin. It is wonderful how mylot can be a platform for us to socialize round the clock. Despite the time difference we are still able to communicate and share our daily activities. When I woke up this morning the sky doesn't seem to be welcoming. It is definitely going to rain today which is a great blessing as the heat has become unbearable. Most of the time I have to switch the air condition to full blast and remain in my room for hours to escape from the scorching heat outside. And the electricity bill is going to burn my pocket for all the usage.

I've had an unfortunate couple of days, but at least the week started off good. I got to go to the movies with my dad on Labor Day. That was a lot of fun. Had a couple migraines this week, and the medicine has had some weird side effects, but the important thing is they are gone now. All in all, I haven't been up to much.

hiGardenGerty I was going full tilt this morning and got another goshawful stomach ache so laid down and I will be switched I fell asleep and slept for almost two hours I woke' up and no more cramps, no stomach ache. so then I mylotted like crazy and had to stop for dinner. so tonight I am trying to catch up a bit on commenting back on the responses to my last discussion. now am through with that so searching for hot ones and friends ones to respond to and keep getting distracted lol.not bored exactlyh just sort of burned out I guess.

Work, work,and more work. Mylot has not been in my cards so much either. I sure do miss it.

Hello, GardenGerty! I get to be in mylot most of my time during the day while my kids are still in school. I sometimes lost track of time coz I have really been enjoying reading through discussions. I am sure will feel the same way like most of the mylotters here. Hope to see you often and I am looking forward to your own discussions here.

I know you are busy with you work and housework and have to find time to be online.I come here nearly every afternoon.However I am here in snatches.I have to go down the stairs to see my Mum every 20 minutes,lest she should go on to the street by herself.Last time she was knocked down by a taxi in the street.Happily it was nothing much.

Oh how I can relate with this one as there are many times I would Love to be here but things happen and I just cannot get in here. It is a place to come and relax and post a bit and keep up with what your friends might be up too. We miss you when you cannot be here sting, but always wishing you the best.

I have been miserable with a cold I caught from a toddler who was sneezing her head off in the grocery store. Said toddler will be all well in perhaps a couple of weeks. I could be sick six months. Yes, before any one speaks, (rather types) I washed my hands when I got home. But nose spray doesn't go away when you wash the hands. I am not a happy camper!

I post just about everything of interest - or I get so far behind I hardly post anything... you know how it is...

You are right. Life does get in the way sometimes. I am in the process of finding a new place to live again. I thought I was completely finished with moving but that was not to be. Now I am looking for a new home with limited resources. Oh well.

Yes it does! This past weekend, we didn't have anything planned. We just wanted to stay indoors because the forcast was for rain. This meant more myLot time for me! Saturday and Sunday morning came and it was bright and sunny. So, we took our bikes (and scooter) out, and just went riding in a park near our house.

We are just starting school here in these parts, back to busy school, and sports schedules. Hope the meeting went well and hope to read more of your posts here. Take it easy this weekend and we will be here when you need us, when ever you can make it back.

From what you folks say, one thing seems sure. MyLot is not the place for those who seek monetary benefits. It is more to do with socializing and friendly banter.As for me, I keep logging in to Mylot as often as possible just to make sure that my account is alive and kicking.

Usually by now I am napping. I nap for a few hours each day which makes me feel bad but my kids are watching a movie or something like that anyway. I went down to the library and to the bank today and other then that I've just been on mylot and gather. My son will be home in about an hour so I should go lay down and take a nap so I can get that out of the way before he gets home. Wednesday when he was at school I was so tired I just slept the entire time he was gone. At least I got some things done while he was at school today. Tomorrow I have to go shopping and Sunday is my neices 8th birthday party so I wont be very active on mylot this weekend unfortunately. Happy mylotting to you :)

Such things do happen in life.And they abort the plans that we make for a particular time or day.Yesterday I had decided to be more active on Mylot on Saturday,but today I quite unexpectedly got an invitation today to participate in a social function that is scheduled to be held on Saturday.As it is a religious function,I am sure it would take a long time to be over.So now it is unlikely that I would be as active on Mylot as I had planned to be.I can understand your problem.

I have a lot of errands the last few days and now, I have my free time for myLot. I make it point that I can contribute even for 10 responses. Next week will be another week full of errands - fetch my parents, bring them to my brother's house, gardening and a lot more to do. Thanks for reminding me of those what are those upcoming activities.

Hi, I am new to myLot and have been falling asleep a lot too whenever I try to myLot. It seems there isn't enough time in the day to myLot sometimes. I wish I could myLot al day.
