Sometimes, as an employee we have a lot of complaints. But could you imagine yourself having no job? I have read that the best way to appreciate our jobs is to imagine ourselves without one. What do you think fellow mylotters? Feel free to share your thoughts. Happy mylotting.

For me, it is inevitable to live without a job. As I don't have a major immovable property or other source of income and 99% is depend on the job, presently a job is important. I am not good in business or don't like to involve in business which require special quality requirements for a business (whatever it is) and a job is a must in this regards.
Our job enviornment may be different and it is not always necessary that it should be fine and ok. Espiecially, these days, the job profile and the nature of work is highly tiring tedious for many sector. Most of the people are stressed or pressurised with jobs and they are managing in such a competetive nature and a lots of obligations and understandings are required for high profiled jobs. Also, the people in normal work also are facing different problems with superiors, other co-workers, deadlines, commitments etc.
Anyway, we need to adjust with our circumstances and try to ease the job whatever we do. As many of the people's earning is mainly depend on our job, a job is highly important and many are doing the job only because of this, and not as they are really enjoying it. However, the job what I do and the place where I work is good and I really enjoying the job and I am satisfied with my job and I am here for the last 15-20 years with the same company.

You should always learn to do things because you want to do it and not being forced to do it. Enjoying the things that you do makes you strive to do your best. You can never think of leaving a job if you have learned to love it, right?

Yes, you are right. If we have the passion in our chosen career or job, we definitely love it. It'll be our life. Sometimes, it's even our top priority. Happy mylotting.

Jobs are not to be appreciated, they are just jobs, not our life. They just give us money and money is not important.
I have worked hard in the last 10 years and I have realised that hard work and low pay doesn't work for me, or anyone in the year 2012.

I agree 100% about jobs just being jobs and I just started feeling this way not to long ago. I have worked in retail for 10 years and have been easily stressed out about different task at work. I took all that stress home and should have been leaving that at work. It took my boyfriend to tell me it is just a job and once I started realizing that it was less stressful.
Every time managers would ask me to stay longer I would and get stuck with a lot of work nobody else wanted to do. Then I said in my head it is just a job and that extra $30 I will make for a few hours is not worth it. Money is important but in that case I could care less.

Wow, I guess both of you are not experiencing any financial problems that's why jobs aren't that important to you. I hope all people are like you maybe, we will face less problems. For many people, money is important that's why they are valuing their jobs. They even sacrifice their time, happiness or health just to stay in their jobs because they can't afford losing one. Thanks for sharing and happy mylotting.

That's why I am out of a job now, trying to find something fulfilling to do with my life. I really do not want another meaningless job.

Yes, some people are not that satisfied with their jobs so they jump from one job to another. They always find something to complain about. It's good for them if they have some people to support them if they don't have jobs yet. They are lucky. For us, we just have to let ourselves love what we do and appreciate what God has given us. Let's thank God because he never let us lose our jobs. Thanks for sharing and happy mylotting.

I am grateful that I have a job. It is not the most interesting job and it is not a high-paying job, but it helps me pay the bills and I am grateful for that. Sometimes when I have to deal problems with the boss, or situations where the other employees who create problems for me because of the mistakes that they have made I get annoyed, but I try to remind myself that I am lucky to have a job. There are many people on my island who are unemployed and I am lucky that I earn money every month. When we return from our trip I will try to find a different job, but right now I am happy that I have a job. It is not the perfect job, but it definately better than nothing.

Oh,my job is perfect but not my bosses,my salary and the benefits that I'm receiving. My bosses are somewhat inconsiderate sometimes for letting us go to work even the weather condition is terribly bad. They also let us come to work even it's our election day.We have the right to vote but we can't practice it.They don't give us double pays when it's our holiday in our country because we're observing their country's holidays. Our only incentive is our 13th month pay.I'm hoping they'd be more considerate soon.

Hello Angel Karah. Employees really have a lot of complaints when it comes to their jobs. Others complain about their salaries, the management, heavy and difficult tasks and so on. In my case, I couldn't imagine myself having no job. I would really worry about my future and I would even envy others who have their jobs. When I have no job and I only have to stay home, I think I would feel a bit useless and bored. Even though there might be some things that I don't like that much in my job right now, I'm still very thankful I have it. Through it, I could earn some money to support myself and to share some with my beloved mother. I would also be able to feel useful and of great help to other people because of my job. I'm just thankful I'm earning some money. It may not be as high as other people's salary, I'm already happy as long as I could eat daily and I could save a little for my future. I think I'm just satisfied with my job right now. I'm already used to it and I think it's easier than other jobs. Let's just be thankful we have our jobs. Happy myLotting. :)

Oh, hi there Ladybugs. I agree with you. Having our jobs is indeed a great help for us to survive in our daily lives. We should be thankful about having them because our jobs are providing us the money which we need to finance our family needs and our personal needs. Thanks for sharing and happy mylotting.

Any kind of a job, you're going to have complaints, but when you like you're job and enjoy what you're doing it makes your job a little easier. I've worked at alot of different jobs and you don't realize what it's like when you don't have a job or are able to work. So, even if you're in a job that you complain about, be thankful that you have a job and are able to work.

Oh, yes. I absolutely agree with you. We complain a lot but we still try to stay in our jobs. Having one is quite difficult to get. Many part-time employees come and go to our workplace. I don't know I guess they aren't that satisfied. For me, even if they're not giving all benefits which we are entitled to, I am still thankful to have it. I hope I will last long in their until I get a permanent job. Receiving enough salary is better than none at all. Thanks for sharing.

When I got married 10 years ago, I decided to be a stay at home and to dedicate my time tending my family. But after a few months, I realized that I love working. I remember my mom told me, why did I take college and graduated if I would not use it--she was right.

Your mother is definitely right. What's the use of graduating if won't work after marriage, right? It's better to apply our degrees and enjoy our chosen professions. Working, dealing with stress and other people will develop ourselves more and our personalities. In addition, someday we will reap what we sow. Thanks for sharing and happy mylotting.
