Happy Birthday Papa (Dad)!

Today September 7 is my father's birthday!
BUT I am sad because I can't celebrate his birthday with him, I'm still 2 more exam for tomorrow. I just greet him in a text message.
I really miss my father almost 3 mos. ago when we met. I MISS his caring, he always cook for us every more since he is the one who wake up early. Hehe
Sad to say but I can't go to our province for his birthday. :(
how do you celebrate father's birthday or mother's birthday if they are in a long distance?

I am sure your Father understands how busy you are with your schooling and he would not want you to miss it. The fact that you took time to text him is enough.
Just continue to let him know how much you miss him and it will be enough. Blessings

You know what he texted back to me, he worrying about me, he told me if I have hard time here in the city, I should go to the province to continue my study so that I can eat 3 times a day. He is really kind and sweet Dad. Isn't it? :)

My friend has the same situation as yours but the difference is she's not studying, she's already working overseas. It is really so hard to be distant from your family specially during those kind of occasions. Why don't you greet your father a happy birthday in Skype. By that, you could see him and tell him what you wish for in his birthday. Happy birthday to your dad.

I just live about 6 km away from my parents' home. It is very seldom that I couldn't be with either my dad or mom to celebrate their birthday. But if it happens that they are in the province during their birthday, I call them to greet them and make sure to visit them when they get home.

HI RSantos, passing your exam and had a high grades are the best gifts for his birthday and for sure he will understand the reason why you can't able to see him on his birthday. My mom birthday was last August, like you I can not able to see her because she is the province and taking care of my nephews, i just called her and sent some money so that she can buy anything she wants or eat in any restaurant she likes. I usually sending money and call during birthday of my parents if I can not able to celebrate with them and they do understood me when I can't able to go home to celebrate with them. Anyway Happy birthday to you father and good luck to your exams.
