The Internet has become a force in my life and I would not imagine living without it. It forms an integral part of my job and I just cannot imagine myself not opening the laptop and browse through my daily favourite sites.

I doubt that love online is as rewarding or complex as love with someone you are looking at her/his face, eyes, movements and smelling them. I´m sure you know about feromones. How can you feel attaction to someone who is not much more than a poster or a movie star?
Technology has it´s pros. Of course. And here I am, mylotting. But it does not replace human touch. We have to understand that it is an adition to our lives and that it should not replace anything.

I am stuck indoors most of the time, so it is great that I can socialise on the internet.
I feel that there are lots of interesting things that we can find to look at as welll as read on here.I would be very bored if I did not have anything to do and it is also great that children can find out things for their couse work for their schools as well.

The Internet does pull you in and you can spend a lot of time online too. Many of us do for many reasons: news, chats, emails, resource and writing jobs. But I do look forward to days when I can just say I'll keep it closed and don't miss it.
Although when we moved we didn't get service for 2 months and that was way too long. Once it was back up it took forever to go through everything and catch up with everyone again.
I am on most days but don't go on at a set time each day. I could turn it on at 6 am or noon or even 5 pm. Depends on what is planned for the day or just wait till tomorrow if there is a lot going on.
Have only had a computer at home for almost 5 years so it is easy to do that give and take thing. Younger people are attached to all these automated gadgets where they can't live without them. It isn't difficult to do, you just live life naturally.

I agree that it may depend on one's age. My mum does not use a computer or internet. However my mother in law learnt how to use it and she got used to going online almost daily to rest a bit. She enjoys shopping online. However I think she would live without it because she lived most of her life without it. I, and people my age on the other hand are more inclined to it. Then people who are younger, say 18 year olds, will be more addicted to it than me and my generation.

Yes, it would be very hard to imagine a world with the Internet. When I am not working or going to school, I would not know how to spend my free time. But to be honest, the Internet isn't just used for our free time; it is incorporated in our daily lives. E-mail, social media, information searching, and news are just some of the few things we used the Internet to perform these type of functions. The digital age has made us more dependent on being informed as soon as possible. And with high-speed Internet available, it makes it very easy for people to lose track of time when using the Internet.

Yes come to think of it I use my internet connection for-
1. work
2. communicating
3. interact through social media
4. check the new
5. check the next days weather forecast
6. check about products available from my favourite shops
7. shop online
8. play games occassionally
and i practically do all of these daily!
I also agree with you - The digital age has made us more dependent on being informed as soon as possible.

I am most definitely addicted to the internet and I know that my life would not be the same if there was no longer any way that you could access the internet. I use the internet to work from home and though I am not getting rich by doing it, it is a little something and it is a little something that I am proud of. Then, in addition to that I also think that it is great that I'm able to have friendships all over the world that I would have never met if it wasn't for the internet.
There would be a huge hole in my life if I didn't have access to the internet.
