I went to a nearby hospital, to purchase some medicines for my nephew. Along the hall way, I saw this sunflower plant. It really caught my attention, since this sunflower plant is made of plastic bottles of beverages. The bottle's cap, neck, body and the base were recycled to create this flower. It is better to create something out of plastic bottles, instead of throwing into a trash bin. What do you think?

I really like this idea. It is nice that the plastic bottles can be recycled and work like a flower pot. I hope more people can have such brilliant ideas to do something good for our environment.
I love China

I believe that upcycling or repurposing of items is something that a lot of people are doing these days. There are a variety of different reasons that people are doing this. The main reason that I think that people are repurposing items is because of the fact that they don't want to waste materials and fill up the landfills. The other reason that I think there is a lot of repurposing that is going on is because of the fact that it is a way to earn a little bit of extra money without having to put out a lot of money for supplies.

Really? You should have taken a picture of it so we could see it there too.
AT least those plastic bottles can also be made decorative pieces. Aside from using it as a bottle for water in the fridge (which we do at home), it can still be made into that.
Actually, when i had our company electrician repair our lamp post, he used those big plastic bottles of mineral water as a cover for the receptacle of the bulb. Then he also covered the switch with a piece of it too.

Yeah I guess that is a good recycling project which can also solve the onslaught of plastic wares being thrown out as garbage. I saw many designs like this like they can convert it to many designs like small trees and I even saw one that this was made into hanger.
I just hope that many would take this project so that this plastic bottles will be made into good use.

Very nice! I love artistic hands who made this! Trash became such a beautiful ornament - and it can be sold! Here in Davao City, the ordinance for no plastic containers took effect last many, and really, we cannot avoid buying plastic bottles, I hope there are also creative mind you can teach individuals to use that, and donate for a cause perhaps - for trading!

Yes, I have seen a lot of arts made of recycled materials.
Just the other day I saw a lamp made of disposable spoons.
It's really cute and very crafty.
I admire people who knows how to recycle things instead of just throwing it.

Very nice but I have to ask how do you purchase meds from a hospital. Here we go to the pharmacy to get meds. This really peaked my interest. What area are you from? I have pictures of a owl that was made from recyled plastic soda bottles.

It's nice and a really creative way to recycle plastic bottles. I'm just collecting ideas about recycling things and found some nice ones, now I'm turning those plastic bottles into vases. I have seen cute penguins made from plastic bottles and rugs knitted from plastic bags. We should all be aware that creating so much waste is very harmful and find ways to recycle.

I love flowers and any ornamental plants. I really appreciate the creation of God especially a simple flowers with different shapes, colors and its fragrance. The ingenuity of man enable him to express and create anything even in making flowers out of plastics or any used materials. This might eradicate or reduced garbage as well as he will earn money from it. I myself patronize this kind of product so i hope everybody will be helping each other and must be disciple in throwing garbage to avoid another flood problems.

I think there are a lot of ways to recycle these plastic bottles, would just depend on one's imagination and creativity. Some use it as a hanging vases to their plants and there is even a foundation that made a school out of plastic bottles. Instead of throwing it into a trash bin there are indeed useful things that we can do to it.

That's a nice decor, many family will benefit if they choose to make this kind of decor and sell to other.
As we all know here in our country that's the main problem now of floods. But if we always think
that we can recycle them to earn money garbage will be lessen.
