Love that expression. What else are you doing as you read or type away at myLot?? I have the washing machine going, the dishes are half done and I'll get up in a minute to finish them, the vacuum cleaner is set up and ready to go and I'm listening to the radio. I'm also checking E-Bay from time to time but I'm not bidding on anything at the moment. Are you a multi-tasker while you use myLot?

When I was working as a checkout operator in a supermarket, I developed Carpal Tunnel syndrome in both hands. When I left work, it went away. I had seen the specialist who advised surgery prior to leaving my job. I use the computer daily and while my arm aches from time to time, I have not developed the symptoms I had previously when I had CTS. Just some facts that possibly may put your mind at rest.

Does eating count? I recently had a hysterectomy so I am not doing much but trying to breathe without pain and move to get comfortable. But I do go back and forth with other sites such as Yahoo!mail,Facebook and a few others while mylotting.

Oh yes indeedy mtdewgurl. How are you feeling other than the pai...poor girl. . Try not to eat too much because I guarantee you will gain weight. It happened to me after I had a hernia operation and I haven't been able to get rid of it. I use my laptop on the dining room table where I can see the TV in the lounge room and I take all my meals here. I just had fish and chips for dinner. I'll be getting up to do the dishes soon and I've also been filing a broken nail. There is really no end to what we can do. It's nice to see you after such a long time.

I'm working out and placing my bets on today's greyhound races. Well, actually, I just put the last one (number 100) on. I am also running a set of Freecell games, which I do every morning to wake my brain up. But all that aside, at 68 I am finding it far harder to do everything justice when I'm multi-tasking, and often find I'm having senior moments when the pressure goes on at the races, say when I have a very early start to the races, or other things have intruded and held up the process, or I slept in and left myself insufficient time. Things suffer a bit then, but I haven't made a mistake for a couple of months (the last 2 occurred 3 days apart and cost me nearly $500 because I accidentally added a zero to my bet size in 2 races which, naturally, figured among my losing bets for the day). And if you think I'm bad, my partner reckons she has trouble single-tasking these days. Lash

When you say "working out" I thought art first you meant exercising, then I realised that was ridiculous. Lash, those are mistakes anyone can make...it's not your age. And I don't think you're bad, well, actually, I reckon you are, but not all the time. I'm sure Sharon is wonderful at multitasking and just trying to make you feel good. (I realise I have taken some licence with these comments so please be assured I am simply being familiar and it is not my intention to offend. I'm just one Aussie taking the mickey out on another) Cheers friend.

Well, I only stopped working out 18 months ago, when I finally got through foolin' myself - lol. Actually, when I started to really feel my age. The mistakes were truly a matter of lack of concentration, which is not something I had to worry about when I was younger. Now it's endemic, and sharra does most of her making me feel good by patiently bringing me the coffee (now cold) which I keep abandoning at various spots around the house because I've forgotten I'm drinking it. Oh God, here she comes again lol. Lash

I do multitask a lot while on mylot. Right now I am working on another website trying to hit my pay out there, then I'm watching my favorite soap opera Days Of Our Lives, I am also looking through other websites and playing around with my dog. I think I might cook me something to eat as well, cause now I am getting hungry and I am texting my husband on my phone. I got a lot going on lol.

Hi trisha, I have just been wondering...what on earth did we do with our time before computers? I used to watch TV and play Lara Croft Tomb Raider on the Playstation and read I guess and do chores. Life was so much more dull compared to now. I got a lot going on too!

These comments make me smile, here Iam lotting and feeling a little guilty about it, and there you all are doing the same things as I am and feeling pretty smug! Before I discovered MyLot I used to play Spider patience on the computer, that was my break, it often went on too long because I thought 'Next time I will win'. Now I spend my time out on MyLot thinking at least I am earning a little money while I am having fun. There is a competiveness about it because I want to earn more today than yesterday, I want my levels to go up and more friends to discuss with. I agree that life was a little dull in places before MyLot but now it is a 'lot' more interesting.

Yep I'm a multi-tasker when I'm on mylot. I do a lot of things. Mostly taking care of my toddler and new baby, also washing clothes, folding clothes, cleaning, working on swagbucks, and some other things as well as facebook with my mom friends off and on all day till my husband gets home. I also some times eat and mylot at the same time or watch tv, even from time to time listen to music.

At this moment I am waiting for my washing to dry outside, so will be bringing it in shortly to fold and put away, I've just potted up some new plants, fixed the basket on my bicycle, taken the rubbish out, dinner is prepared, ready to put in the oven, and the lawn mower is waiting for me when I finish up here! I think most women are multi-taskers - we have to be!

I'm going to leave the vacuuming till another day as I have just emerged from my daily nanna nap and now it's time to feed the critters and get ready for the night. I usually don't do chores in the evening other than potter in the garden while I'm watering the plants. I'll be doing watering the pot plants on the verandah soon and then having my dinner...after my fur babies are fed, of course. My multi tasking comes from not being able to stand around while the dishes dry or the clothing is washed. I set things up then move on to the next job. I do other jobs in between so it doesn't seem like one long chore.

Wow, you are really a multi tasker. That's great. You save a lot of time. For me, I'm doing my job online (talking to a person and writing a report) and mylotting as well. LOL. Happy mylotting.

Sorry to take so long to get back to you. Today was my weekly day out with the girls. I can't sit still and wait for things to happen so I just do a bit here, a bit there and at the end of the day I have achieved quite a lot.

I always have the tv on when I am Mylotting. Sometimes I take a break to change laundry. I sometimes eat when Mylotting. Once in awhile I will text someone on my phone. Then there are times I will go to Facebook and see what is going on there. I will do other searching, too, when I am on Mylot. If I do muti-tasking when not on the computer I suck at it! I forget to finish things! ugh!

MsTickle, that's what i am doing daily in my life. i can't live a day without multi tasking. Because there are too man things that are waiting for me to settle daily. I use washing machine daily to wash my clothes. While putting those clothes to wash, i would listen to music and complete my other daily household works. Only when i have the free time in between, then i would online and visit Mylot and other sites. While online, i would listen to music from the Youtube site. It is really wonderful to multi tasking, as we can see many things are being achieved within a short period of time.

Hi vidhyaprakash_2. I myLot, do E-Bay stuff and play games at a kid's site and I guess I do a few other daily things online but I tend to get stuck in one place. I definitely need more hours in the day (and a new bottom because mine becomes very stiff )

When I use mylot I will listen to the music and watch some movie sometimes,I think I can only do three things most in a time. But I am very curious why you can just checking E-Bay and do not do any bid? When I checking E-Bay I always have a passion to buy something and always will offer my bid.

I'm waiting for over 50 items to be delivered and I'm watching several items and keeping track of the bids on them and how much they finally go for. I don't just jump in and bid for something I want. I also spend a lot of time searching for various items I want and comparing them to others. You are better than I...it's impossible for me to watch TV and listen to the radio at the same time.

You are just born a superwoman. Women are indeed powerful , can do many task at same time yet remain alive and so kicking. Like me . while working , side by side checking mails , sending , talk to friends , join Mylot discussion , doing all stuff yet remain sane , and composed.

See me standing hands on hips with my super cape flying. It is a good feeling when I can get so much done in a day. Sometimes, I make my jewellery when I'm at the laptop. I do some reading, some typing, some jewellery work and when I finish a piece I have something lovely to show for it. I sold a beautiful bracelet today for $15.00 and was given an order for another one. How cool is that?

It's quite exciting to do and accomplish things all at the same time! I love Mylot because I just do multi-tasking:)

I just keep jumping up and down. The dishes are now done including the stove. I've collected the mail from the post office, made and had lunch, finished the laundry and hung it out and several other things as well. I get tired pretty easily so I need to pace myself with chores, I can't do anything all at once. Nor can I sit at the computer for long at one time. I've always been pretty efficient and so as that is a skill I am good at, I use it to achieve the things I need to do. If I don't get things done as required, I just schedule them for the next day. You are obviously better in the self discipline department.

I'm thinking it's evening time there. It's lunch time here. While I had a visitor, I finished the dishes, then, I got dressed, collected the mail, checked out the two army helicopters that landed on our cricket field, come home, dealt with my mail, made some sandwiches, ate therm while back at myLot, now I'm watching the midday movie, about to get something else to eat, then I'll hang out the last of the washing.

Definitely multitasking. I've got four browser windows open, watching a Madea movie and settling my kids down for school. It's amazing that more of us don't go insane with all the things that call for our attention.
