Mary The Mother

Hi there,
Can I say everybody knows about Mary the mother of Jesus. Her story in the ancient time is very popular in which Roman Catholic considered and includes her for many saints or way how to communicate God. We Christians knows that her participation and being virgin used to show and bring Jesus christ on earth, but some are not really believes (may be including me) to give more recognition of her part on the blessed event for Jesus Christ. I beleived it is enough for her to recognized as a mother of Jesus, blessed mother because God used her. But more than that look like idolatry like in some areas that her stone epeggy was giving a sacrificial action like praying... How about you? What your thought about this? Im not really against I just telling the reality of some are doing... see you around

I was born with strong faith, brought up with my family so God fearing. I don't want to preach, since I am not a priest. There is no reaction of condemning, I respect your opinion on this. Believers are really into religion beliefs, following the doctrines. It is a matter of choice for everyone not to believe or to believe. Have a great day!

Do you mean we don't have responsibility since we know the truth about the practise we are seen around us. My point is just tell them the truth not forcing them to believe because we don't have right to do that as you said their choice. Im not condeming other relation if they are not really exagerated and out of the true practice.

Hi,
Some may not realize that the attention and devotion to Mary has gone to the level of being a demi-God, in rank to the Trinity. Maybe it is the popularity of her role in the plan of mankind;s salvation make it so. Still, one should be careful not to overdo things or they might end up on the wrong side of heaven.

Yeah your right... actually not only toward Mary but to all they call it saints. More enough attention and devotion to them instead in a realy God which is in the form of spirit - means unable to see. There are many verses in the bible mentioned about the idolatry but people believe in a wrong way and practice. May be because of our old customs and believe that push us to do such thing.
