My Postponed Visit

I am from Cebu and I've been to Simala a couple of times as well. It's really a holy place you can feel it when you step inside the premises. Many answered prayers were proven by devotees themselves by leaving memorabilia. I saw a wheelchair left by a healed Paralytic, a nursing cap given by a Licensed Nurse just to name a few. It's a place you should not miss in Cebu. I hope you can come back and experience the holiness of the place.

Birhen sa Simala is a very good place to visit when you want to meditate, ask for forgiveness, ask a favor to the Holy Virgin Mary and say your Thanks for all the Blessings. It is located on a mountain top and the Church/convent itself is now very huge and even from far afar you can see it. Simala is one of my favorite place to visit and i make it a point to pay a visit when its my children's birthdays, i bring them there to say a prayer and thank yous for all the blessings. I even offered my youngest daughter to Mama Mary when i was still pregnant with her, i prayed that everything be okay with my pregnancy and promised to come back every year to pay a visit every birthday of my youngest daughter...and yes i am still keeping that promise. Do try to visit Simala and experience her miracles too.

I haven't been to Cebu, I hope next year we will have a budget already so we can go to Cebu. And Simala will surely be in our itinerary.

I have been to Cebu and it was really amazing though I wasn't able to go to Simala. For sure there will always be a next time for an out of town trip.
