This past few days or almost a week now, I feel dull
lonely and lazy to do things I normally does. Nothing
particular problem I have I just can't figure out what
happened to me.
I have a sudden head ache at night maybe it's the reason too.
I want to go out and have fun outside but it is only a plan,
when I started to get dressed I felt lazy again.
My friend visited me twice and encourage me to go shopping
I go with her but not in the mood to shop just roaming around
the mall. I invite my daughter to have a dinner and walk going home
to inhale fresh air. Later this afternoon I crave some Ice cream
and decided to eat. I know I have to watch my weight now but I also
want to be fine again and bring back the real me.

A walk will have a soothing effect. You can also feel better by watching some movies with good humour. Another option is try to hangout with your friends, that would cool your mind and make you feel better.

I have severe depression with panic attacks. So I know that unless you push yourself you may not come out of this. Some people have a disconnection in the brain and need medication to keep them level meaning keeping them from a deep depression. When you feel this way you need to baby yourself with the icecream(don't over do it ofcourse) or a bubble bath or something that makes you feel good. If this feeling you are having stays around for several weeks you really should seek the help of a doctor.

Well, if your depression lasts for a long period it might be a good idea to see a doctor. The doctor would be able to figure the right med for you. Self medicating can cause you all kind of problems later on.

Unfortunatly, when I´m depressed I eat more than I should and just the kind of things that are forbidden. I crave for fat of any kind. I can make siome french fries and eat them while I´m frying a new batch. Or I could make an omelette with a couple of egg and some veggies.

I think as celtieagle said we should pampered ourselves once when we are depressed.. But still be
aware of what we eat.

Oh, feeling lonely and senti
Well, just write and express your feelings.
The best option that I've discovered it to write.
Yes,the more sad and feeling alone- the more I could write.
Believe me, it works and help a lot.
Not to mention that I earned a lot too...
Maybe that's the secret, once I wrote and posted more articles - the more I earned.
Then, that changes my mood after seeing my earnings

in front of my laptop trying to express and wrote something but my thoughts
are floating, Im really trying to catch those thoughts floating in the air.
Maybe I should invent a device how to catch them.

usually when i feel down, i just i play my heavy metal or grunge collection and just let the feeling roll.
some say crying can ease the pain. maybe what i've been doing has a similar concept. i won't try to run away from it, but rather rush into it head first.em]evilgrin[/em]
well.. that's me.
but anyway, i suggest you go with your friend. it helps if you have somebody to talk to. even if there is no particular topic.
oh.. and good luck with the killing thing.

Maybe its the change of seasons...sometimes that happens. My son ususally get depressed in the fall. I took him for some counseling when he was young and they say that it could be an anniversary of something that happened in the fall...might try thinking of something that happened around this time of year and see how you feel about it.

Hello mate, you have a very nice topic here! It's good to talk about it, rather than keep it inside you. Life has all the stressors, and they are present everywhere. Experts on health said we cannot really avoid getting stress, in fact, there are the so called good stress and bad stress.
Good stress are those that cause you to wake up early such as deadlines, cause students to study their lessons - approaching den's exams.
Bad stress, those that we must learn to avoid lighten or lessen, those are stressors that make someone depressed and get sick because of it! Examples are unsolved family problems, unsolved financial problems.
Yet, those stressful events in your life can still be solved and lessen and I gradually learn how to handle my own! That is to let the time pass and keep still. If you are troubled, don't move, close your eyes, do not think, just let things slip away by time... it's a way to relax and refresh yourselves...
... because if you are already overwhelmed and stressed out, you cannot think logically, you cannot think ways and remedies for your problem, you need some break in the first place - RECHARGE!
Learn how to kill those stressors, being alone sometimes can prolong it so be with your friends, or be with the people you trust, take their advice and opinions, and also, ask His Guidance, the Father Almighty! We knows that you are in pain, and He will Help YOU!

I notice that going shopping always help with a lot of stuff like some back pain, unhappiness, business etc so I would shop if I feel depressed(if I could afford...) The other thing is go play in the Ocean, it used to make me very happy but where I live right now is not close to any Ocean so it is not my option right now.

Lyn, when i feel depressed, i would go sight seeing to the nearest shopping malls. I would get the chance to try out clothes when i feel wanted to. To make myself feeling positive and lively again. I can't feel depressed for too long since it will affect my health. I always make sure i am feeling positive daily, by listening to music. By feeling positive and lively, i am able to complete my daily household works faster. So, able to come online very often as well...

Hi, lynboobsy! You certainly are not alone. I feel like that a lot of the time. Off and on since I was 10yrs old. Here are some sites that might be helpful to you. They are natural remedy sites. You know, I'm the natural health nut of mylot!
www.kitchentablemedicine.com/the-nine-best-natural-remedies-for-depression/ , www.earthclinic.com/CURES/depression.html and www.earthclinic.com/CURES/thyroid.html
I have used all of these different vitamins and herbs. They do help bring me back to a more normal state. One of the best things that helped was a vitamin containing iodine. My diet was severely lacking in iodine and this helped a lot. Low/no iodine causes many thyroid problems. And many things can be improved through change in diet. And one other thing you can do is while you are trying to think of what to write fix a big bowl of ice cream, drizzle it with rum and just a tiny bit of vodka and some chocolate syrup. After you eat about 1/2 of it you should be getting some ideas on what to write about. The only problem is you might have trouble focusing your eyes on the computer. Things might be a little blurry. Take care and I hope this helps a little.

Wish you bring back the real you soon. I can feel what you are experiencing as I often experience that . Is it inertness of our human? I want to be lazy now and then , like you said, I don't do things as usual. But when I have to go to work , I can refresh again as usual. I think I just need that relaxation sometimes.

I know how you feel, for some reason I feel the same way. I try to motivate myself to do things, like go to the gym, but it's very difficult. The thing that I do most when I feel this way is watch TV and eat a lot of junkie food.

Hi,
When I feel depressed I like to lye on bed calmly for some time and go out for some walk and then I meet some people out there and I get some relief. I read some boos which are spiritual and they give me encouragement to face the life positively and calmly.

First off, I hope you feel better soon. It's no fun being depressed. I haven't felt that way in a LONG time. But when I do have my sad moments, I always listen to music and sometimes I write. I usually write poetry describing how I feel at the moment or even relate it to the song that I'm playing. Sometimes I just pour out all my emotions into my journal. When I feel really down, I cry it out and I pray to God! I usually go on walks listening to motivational music, maybe some gospel or anything that suits my mood. If I get a headache, which is usually around the time I have to go to bed I take some ibuprofen, do a few exercises in my room and sleep it off. By the next morning, I feel amazing!!! :) However, if none of this seems like it will work for you, I would suggest maybe talking to a therapist and getting to the root of your issues. I wish you good luck!

I usually go out with friends and when I'm at home I play and hug my puppy. I also watch TV and surf the net. Anything I feel like doing that I know will relieve the depression I feel or at least divert my attention into things that will help me forget even for a short period of time.
