September 11, 2001 was a terrible day, not just for America, but for the world. Without a free America, there's little chance of a free world. No, we must not forget that horrendous day, since if we forget the lessons of history we are doomed to repeat them. Frankly we already have actually, else why would there be a Muslim jihadist in the WH illegally, unconstitutionally taking America down from within jihad style. Islam will destroy every "infidel" ( which is everyone who will not bow to Islam) by the sword, plane, word, deed, taqiyya and any other form of deception. They usurper in the WH made no mention of 9/11, but his fistbumper wife took the opportunity to endorse homosexuality on that specific day, 9/11/12!~!!!! OMG.

It is not something that you can simply tell people to forget easily especially families of innocent victims who lost their loved ones in the worst act of terrorism.

zandi i really feel sorry for those how have lost the members from their homes but do u know the story after the 9 11 accident you know how many innocents were being still punished for 9 11, which they don,t even know about it, today ever one in this world is moving so fast that if we still live in past we will never be able to reach the highest aim in our life's , why are we hating those which dont even knows about the 9 11 act , you know after the 9 11 act more many life's has also being gone , most of them were innocent the person how did is easily hiding someone were in this world, so i think we should take a step a forget the past , and think as ever one is equal. and at least we should try to help them which they were not being involve.

Ever heard this paraphrase quote? "Those who tend to forget the past, is likely to repeat the past" We will NEVER forget, just like the holocaust, and all the wars men have been in..Why do you suppose history is a required subject? Other than something for students to learn about the past, it also keeps it from being repeated, that is if the history is correct. If someone messes with the correct info, then that is when people start leaning towards what they think is a "new and great" idea, like where in America, some want to revive our Constitution and that isn't right, that is what protects the people rights. You may forget if you like, but I WILL NOT!!!!

lol I guess I never ever said that "I am very happy because the peoples die this incident" The peoples responses about "We don't forget This" kind of shocking for me.

I am sorry if it's Jewish propaganda, there's no way a jewish can blew himself up here in the metro train in my country. a friend of mine told me there are only 500 jewish here (wow). though this was a long time ago, we all know here that it was a m-fanatic that did this. So, my saying here is that, IT's not JEWISH propaganda at all. we don't want to get too heated here knowing that you're a mylotter. i hope you just avoid religious discussion specially at these times, it's gonna hit a lot of nerves, on both sides.

Incident on 11 September, is a very sad incident. I am very sad, remembering the incident. We make it as a historical event. And I really hope, there is no misunderstanding and resentment, because of the incident.

How can you so simply say that people should just forget about something such as this. Its not that easy, families lost loved ones children lost parents parents lost children because of this terrorist act. You can't just say forget about it and move on and just compare it to wars that people know about. Its not the same, this happened out of the blue one day. We will always remember the lives that were lost on this day. Preaching loves and justice and freedom and respect yeah we should but to forget I think not.

I would say its time to focus on the future, but doesn't mean you have to forget the past. History always stores something to be learnt for future generation. 9/11 shouldnt stay as a symbol of vengeance and intolerance, but as a symbol of human sufferage and tolerance, peace and humanity. Its a bitter fact that many lives have been lost that day, but taking more lives doesnt heal the wound, spread love and warmth and the world would be a better place to live in.

Although it was happened more than 11 years ago but the effect still going on. The fight between Christians and Islam still hanging all the way from America to Afghanistan. It's easy to say, some people might forget but to those who are families of some victims of the devastation, most of them they won't forget.

It has been said, if you forget the past you're doomed to repeat it. Perhaps we should stop dwelling on it.

There were so many people that lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and since that day as a result of those terroristic events, there have been several thousand more individuals that have lost their lives. So, as September 11, 2012 has passed, I really don't think that it is a time to forget the past and focus on the future. I do think that it is important to focus on the future, but I also don't think that it is wise to forget about the past.

It is time to move on, but we should always remember. It showed how easily everything can be changed in an instant and no one is safe. The families that lost someone that day will never forget. Also, that was a little different from wars. If you go to war, you know there is a chance that you will die, but these were all innocent people from all walks of life.

They say - " Learn from the lessons from the past" and I agree with it. It was indeed a devastating part of history. One of the darkest moment of world history, not only for the USA but for every one around the globe. That's why we should all be vigilant, protect our lives and the lives of others. Lets remain focused for the future, move on. Thanks

No doubt millions lost lives and family members in the World Wars. But then, there is no way you should compare the World Wars or Officially declared wars with self interest vested acts of Terrorism. The citizens of the countries at war knew they were at war and many might have been prepared for the same. But for this Sept 11 act of Terrorism - it was completely uncalled for and that is why it is act of Terrorism. Preaching Love, Justice and Freedom respects are great and always good for the entire world. And I must say that for a mere act of a few terrorists, there are thousands and more who are suffering. Unless we forget and move on... the seeds of hate would keep showing up.
