Hello Lotters, If only the jeep wasn't driving so damn fast, it won't get into that trouble. all the excuses, but still reckless. I understand though, they tried to fast it up to get more passengers, avoid traffic, time in the road. but this surely is the consequences of their actions. Luckily, no one was around in the drug store, but the driver would still go to jail not a ref link. http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/video/nation/metro-manila/09/12/12/jeep-rams-pharmacy-manila

Driving is dangerou enough without people behaving like fools or lunatics. They deserve jail time, a hefty ban, and being fined enough to pay for their prison stay.

Hello Memmon, I feel bad for the driver I mean he was supposed to be driving safely for the sake of the passengers and he failed to do just that. yeah, he would still go to prison because it's reckless imprudence resulting to damage property, his fault of course. have a nice day.

besides recklessness I think another cause would be poor or lack of maintenance since he was giving brake failure as an excuse, thank God no one was hurt, crazy driver, at least all the medicines are there for him

Looks like the driver is still lucky that one is harmed huh. Imagine if there are shoppers around and the jeep hit people -or killed one.. I hope this will serves other drivers a lesson.

drivers of public utility vehicles should always remember that they are responsible for the lives of their passengers and also those in the street whenever they are doing their job. I have been a victim of a vehicular accident once and i get disappointed when drivers involved in accidents point to loose breaks and other causes for i believe that if they are just taking people's safety with utmost important most of these accidents could be avoided.

Hello Namiya, I have experienced drivers that didn't care about the passengers well being. either mom would rant on them or we just drop of and take another jeep.

I just saw that in facebook I thought it was just a joke like being photoshoped. I don't know that this is real. Good thing nobody was harmed but still he have done the damage that makes hassle to the Mercury establishment including employees. Of course he must still go to jail for reckless driving.

Hello Metatronik, No it's not done in the Photoshoppe because it was aired in the news. that's why it's real, yeah it can be edited but not like that. they were even checking the passengers who are in shock inside the jeep and had not left out yet after the crash. have a nice day.

This serves the driver a lesson in driving recklessly. I hope the driver or the passengers were not hurt in this incident else additional burden for the driver and operator for the medical assistance they have to pay for the victims of this accident. This kind of driver deserves to have their licenses revoke so that they would not be able to drive again. But then again it too is a harsh penalty since you would literally removed his livelihood because of this and he might just turn to illegal activities if you remove his right to drive as a form of disciplinary sanction.

Hello Rsa101, None of them were hurt, but to be sure they sent medical personal to check on their condition. seems like part of the movie scene but it's not. I am not sure if this is the owner or some driver hired by the owner but for sure he will loose his job. he should have been more careful because the safety of the passengers depends on him. have a nice day.

Wow, good thing nobody was hurt. Time and time again we all see accidents like this happen and makes us wonder how on earth did the driver even was issued a license after the investigations deemed it that the driver isn't really that knowledgeable nor emotionally stable to handle the responsibility of being the designated driver. Safety over income should always be priority.

I agree, the driver needs to know the social responsibility. If the accident happens too drastic, then they will realize how bad it is. Now, it is too late to change the act of being reckless.

Hello Shavkat, He can redeem himself and think about the mistake he did in jail. I know it's harsh and sad that he lost his job, he could have a family but it's a mistake that any one would not live to redeem if you are gonna stay there for a while. discipline is a must if you are in the road. have a nice day.
