Today my day started with my baby crying as she dreamt that she don't want to go school .
I trued to influence her by saying that it is good to go school but she started crying so hard that i cannot do anything .
So due to this she took holiday and now she will eat my brain for the whole long day.

This is something that my children actually try to do with me all of the time, however, it is very rare for me to simply allow my children to stay at home because of the fact that they don't want to go to school.
The reason that I don't let them out of a day of school simply because of the fact that they don't want to go to school is because of the fact that I think it is important to teach children that it is important to sometimes do things that we don't want to do from an early time in their lives.

hi nupur23!
I remember when my daughter is younger. She had those moments that she doesn't feel like going to school. I told her that I'll allow her to stay at home but NO TV and CAN'T PLAY until school hours is over. She ended up doing nothing and from them on she never like to be absent!

Kids are kids. They are quite unpredictable. Come to think of it, so are adults.Lol.
I like the phrase, "she took a holiday", it really put a smile to my face.
Anyhow it doesn't mean that your baby is there it will be a bad day, on the contrary it maybe a great day for you. Just enjoy the holiday.

I wouldn't let my child not go to school for that reason, I know it is hard that to push your child to schoool when she is upset but I don't think it is a good idea to use that as excuses. I hope she will feel better though and explain to her she can't do that every time when she has a bad dream.

It is just a phase, don't worry. I think every mother had the same experience with their children. Just let her stay home for now and talk to her more about how the school can be so great.
