I don't understand why Superman will love another girl?

I watched Superman movies in my childhood. Lately I watched Superman I, II and III again. We all know that Superman loves Lois in Superman I and II. However, in Superman III he loves with Lana who was his high school friend. He even gave her a diamond ring at last. What's wrong with him and Lois? The movies didn't tell us more about it because in Superman III they seem to be colleagues only.

In the comics these days he is with wonder woman instead of lois or even lana.

Maybe will thoroughly explain on their next series. Another story will be coming. It seems no ending of Superman at this decade.
