Do we need CCTV cameras in school classrooms?

Many parents want to put CCTV cameras in classroom. It’s a personal campaign for many of the parents who say their children have suffered cruelty at the hands of teachers and classroom advisors with unsatisfying penalties. What are your opinions on this?

I think it is a wise way to prevent such act but on the other hand, it may effect the privacy of the class. The student's actions may be affected in a way that they can't move freely because of the fact that they can be paranoid that someone is watching them. Psychologically it may affect the students behavior and study habits.

For me, I don't think it is needed. It will be fine to installed in entrance / exit area, parking lot, etc. Definitely, not in classrooms.

hi, it because crimes continuously increase even how secured it is bad people still do bad things, such as stilling and killing too,so for me its regardless if it is a classrooms in the school, the admin should also put some CCTv cameras to avoid what happened to the UST student who have been stabbed with three students from FEU.
