Huhuhu they reported me =(

I am way behind with my notifiers due to not being here much recently but there are 1 points in your topic here that I wanted to comment on, even though I didn't see your deleted topic. 1 - a topic does NOT have to be reported for it to be removed. Admin sees violations even when they have no reports at all and he removes them. 2 - every discussion has a UNIQUE number (which you can see in the URL in your browser). The number is progressive therefore a topic is duplicate/repeated when it is a higher number than another one with a lower number, which would have been postd first. If somone were to copy your topic and then post it and report yours as the duplicate, everyone, including admin, can read the number and see that yours was first and therefore not a duplicate. Letran, move on and don't rant because you know that you risk losing a topic like this one too which could be considered "an individual issue"

If the deletion notice said "duplicate post" it means it was an exact copy of a post, not a repeat topic. This usually occurs when an internet connection glitches or when posting from some mobile devices. If it was not in fact a duplicate post, let me know and I'll see if I can dig it up.

LK, i wonder why you don't know there are numbers in each discussion we make in here and if admin sees it, they know which is made first and to be considered duplicate. but then about searching, i bet not all discussions here can have same words or titles. and there are times, i do tried to search about my own topics, but then it won't appear... so, that maybe is the reason. not all words or title can appear in this search box...

. You will just have to chalk this one up as an experience. I guess that it is inevitable that we wil all post discussions which may at some point be comsidered duplication by admin. Unfortunately that is subjective, and therefore difdicult to forsee when you post. However it does seem a shame, when on so many other sites endless duplications are posted about such things as the outcome of tv soap eposodes!

I often receive notification about my response was deleted but I consider it as part of the game. Some reasons are duplication or that the post which it was under are deleted.

They removed my discussion about my having a cat with the roommate's name on his fur - for soliciting violation. I protested it to goaskalice and he said he'd look into it.

Their guidelines are different from us dude so don't consider that you know the reason why they deleted you post. Consider yourself having your own site. You can do anything based on your disclaimer. The problem here we cannot talk the admin one on one so they will tell us the reason. That is why, myLot still UNIQUE. I experience the same with you many times.

sorry for that. maybe the title was similar or something^^ maybe they are just too strict sometimes. like why we cant put referral links in discussions? it could be a helping each other site. i mean its also us users here that make the site goes on. so they could have a bit more patience with us and give us more freedom. its true that they pay us a little but they receive a lot of money bcs there are 200 000 people using mylot. they could at least warn before delete our discussion. they could say dont make another one like this or something. sorry that they did that to you.
