A surprise from Sec. Jesse

Philippines

I just heard from the news that Sec. jesse Robredo planned on surprising his daughters with the Maroon 5 ticket and they just received the tickets todayfrom his staff. That is so thoughtful of him. I don't personally know him but he served as the Mayor of my hometown for almost all my living years before he took up the DILG Secretary position and he's done a great job in improving our city. The news of his death really made me sad. He is the president we never had. I'm missing him already. If you were his son or daughter, what would you feel?

Oh is that so. He is really a doting and loving father indeed. Good deed keeps surfacing even if he is already gone. And the more that we get to know how kind Sec. Jesse is. Yes, he could have been our bet for the presidency when the right time comes.

Oh that is the story behind the news last night. I think that was Dad's last surprise for her daughters after the tragic end of his life. I really admire this person being a Nagueno myself as well. I have seen the improvement of my home city and his legacy still lives on that city despite he left the reigns to trusted people to govern the city. I just hope it would not die as well and would continue to live on.

Felt sad because of his kindness. He is the model for all walks of life not mainly to his family. Hope the attitude and hardwork he left for us to follow well continue to flow on the next generation.

This is something strange but wonderful. That was the thoughtfulness and the loving father that was Jesse Robredo. His daughters must be very happy.

Wow! His daughters maybe crying with joy and sadness now. His family is so lucky to have him. He has done so much for Naga and for our country as well. I wish the Filipino people will continue to have him as an inspiration.

I don't think a thank you will suffice. But now, I think the daughters would likely want their father back rather than a Maroon 5 concert ticket. But that ticket would have been the nicest surprise for the daughters were he is alive today.
