Pacquiao - Marquez 4: Exciting or Boring?

Boxing - Pacquiao Vs. Marquez
Philippines

I heard from the news reports that the fight of Pacquiao and Marquez on December 8, 2012 is confirmed. Is it still exciting? Or is it boring already? I think it's too much for Manny Pacquiao to prove once more that he wins over Marquez? What do you think?

I thought Pacquiao said he is giving up boxing and politics because he will focus on preaching. So now he will fight again in December? HO-hum. That is no longer interesting. Next issue, please.

I agree. Pacquiao should retire and give way for aspiring boxers.

I think on some aspect you are right. Pacquiao has proven a lot of times already while Marquez has tried so much in many ways even to the point of applying foul tactics (stepping on the foot of Pacquiao). I would say that accepting this fight would tantamount to submitting to the desire of Marquez to satisfy his obsession and to overcome the shame that he suffered after repeatedly losing the fight over to Pacquiao. I still would watch the fight I may not be excited but I will not definitely be bored, more than anything else I will be curious to find out what will be the final outcome of this fight , only then can I say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

I'm never a fan of boxing but just seeing it on the news that they'll have a fight for the fourth time I think it's not about who wins that game anymore, I think they're both fighting because it's there bread and butter. No fights no income.

For me,it still exciting if Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao will win this in coming fight in December. In Philippines, many are waiting for Pacquiao to see in ring while fighting and I am one of the biggest fan of pacquiao. Then I wish the next opponent of Pacquiao is Floyd Mayweather Jr.An showy Champion but afraid to fight Manny. It is Because of Mayweather unacceptable reason. Yesterday, Floyd Mayweather Jr. got lose to case in Manny. And it is good news for me.It will become boring if Manny will lose ,because he will lose his chance to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr.

For other people it is boring, but most of the people says that "rematch". That means we cannot blame other people's decision, right?. But for me i think Pacquiao wants to prove that we Filipinos, we can do the things that other people can't. And for me, a little bit fan of that boxing, exciting, because i want to know what Pacquiao's reaction after the rematch. That's all i can say... good day!.

Every fight is exciting. We as Filipinos idolized Pacquiao, whom in no doubt, the best boxer worldwide. When we idolized someone, we support the person, we are eager to know what's happening, and we are excited about the result. Both Pacquiao and Marquez shown their abilities and they are both extremely good fighters. The exciting part is, who had the throne? And whoever does, that's exactly what made the fight exciting!

I'm still quite excited over the fight between those two but somehow it's becoming tiresome. I hope that it's not going to be a boring and predictable fight.

what is it for pacquiao to prove? this is just a money thing because win or lose? he gets to have the bigger slice of the pie.

Marquez is really pushing through defeating Pacquiao, huh? Was his pride buried that so deep when Manny brought him down, and he has to fight Pacquiao one hundred times to bring it up again to the surface? I think this would not be so as exciting as the first and the second times, but why not give it another hit? Let this fight explain to Marquez why he already has to stop pushing through the tiny holes of Pacquiao wherein he doesn't fit.

For the fourth time, is not exciting anymore. People already knew the attitude of both fighters in the ring. Both of them already proved to World what they've got in boxing so there's nothing to fight for.

Personally, it has become boring. But then, taking into consideration what has been mentioned by a boxing analyst that this forthcoming bout will be a mind game given that both know each other's moves so well, it does leave me wondering how they would finally conclude the long fight.
