Due to the strict regulations of POEA, almost all documents now when you are applying should be authenticated or other called RED RIBBON.
I just want to know if you handle it yourself or you ask somebody to do it?
My agency required that my NBI clearance should be authenticated because of POEA new processing of working visas.
I don't time to fall in line in our DFA so I asked somebody to do it for me. I paid them for their work.
If you are in my case, do you do the same?

For the NBI clearance I think you can do it by yourself. However, for the authentication, I think you should have it given to the agency for it will take time to process. I'm not sure if this is the same thing that I did to my papers before which I handed over to DHL to do the process. Anyway, only a copy of the original will be sent to them, so no worries.

In your case, if you are in Manila then you will have the option to do it yourself. As for me, we are situated in Cebu and the DFA office where the authentication will be done is in Manila so we have no choice but to give it to DHL so it can be done.

No, I won't.
I won't give my personal documents to any agencies that process documents.

Hello there bro, yeah, I will do the same too. I really hate long lines, it happened to me when I need to get an NSO copy of my birth certificate, I went at the office 5 o clock in the morning, and I found out that there are more than 50 people already waiting there, so what I do, I went for a walk instead of waiting, hahahaha, I made a good exercise then... and I asked my friend to get one for me! Anyway, good luck bro and always be safe!

Never tried on NSO, I have brother-in-law that has access to NSO Iligan City so no need to fall in line early in the morning.
My experience yesterday was the worst among all. More than 700 individuals wait their turn to claim their TESDA certificate.

I haven't tried this yet, but the last time I planned on having some papers processed for my passport, I was advised by some friends to have someone do it for me. The same is true with some of this authentication stuff. If the same travel agency can provide such service and it seems that you don't have the time probably because of some commitments, then by all means, I think considering having someone do it for you is good enough. It's less hassle and less stressful. One thing is sure though, you have to really see to it that the agency doing it for you has a really good reputation. If you have the slightest doubt, don't do it. It's better if you handle it yourself. It might be time consuming and a lot of work, but it could satisfy your sense of security. It's really up to you if you can do it or not. If you can't and don't have time, have a reputable agency do it for you. If you think you can, then handle it yourself. Good luck to you!
