This is a funny story, I had attended a fundraising dance party two years ago. I'm not good in dancing, but I can manage some groovy moves (laugh out loud). There is an interval of taking a rest, sitting on a corner. On the dance floor, I was paying attention with the three teenagers dance so unusual, as if they are following each others foot steps. I may say, it is noticeable for some viewers too. As I observed them, a woman is taking the lead. That woman was their biological mother, I find it so sweet. After the song had ended, the mother and the three sons sat next to our table. I am not an eavesdropper, but I overheard something. The mother was seem so embarass, she was talking with her sons. It goes like this, "I felt so ashame of what all of you did on the dance floor". "What do you think is the next?" The mother claimed that her sons routine of movements is like a "penguin dance". On top of it, she submissively admits that it was her fault. She didn't allow her sons to join any dance parties. The ending, the siblings can not dance without copying the moves of their mother.

hahaha,
aww poor mother, but how old were the kids? How was the dance by the way? besides it would have been reallly embaracing for the mother to lead the dance, I once did the same thing in fund raising dance party, I was following the person in front of me and after % minutes she came and said "I am feeling soo sorry for you, stop struggling with yourself and if you keep on being like an idiotic penguin then please follow someone else stop making me obvious for every one". I was about to cry, wasn't it rude:(, then onwards I never fance:D

Both of my parents were very good dancers, but that talent wasn't passed down to their children.

I grew up in South America and dancing is a big part of our culture! I have danced since I can remember and my children can dance very well too...well why not? since they were little I used to put a record on and dance as a form of exercise and they loved it! now I Am 67 and don't dance as much but still enjoy dancing very much!

Hello my friend Shavkat Ji,
Well, I am a aged woman , but niether had any chance to dance , nor I ever taught any of our children, in our society, it is not essential taht people should know dancing. I think , it may be cumpolsory in your society. I never felt so like that mother of three sons, mentioned in your experience.
May God bless You and have a great time

hi,
its really funny when this animal penguin dance because they only have minimal steps and aside from that they are all the same steps, and yes its true that the mother or the elder will be the leader then follow by other penguin such a duck also like that.

hi shavkat that mom must have really dampened any desire for them to dance after saying that to them., perhaps the sons can go take some dance lessons from someone kinder than that mom who made fun
'of them. shame on her teens are a bad age to be made fun of
to begin with.
