Yes, the new cellphones now have a wifi capability. Although, if the place has no wifi, i think it would be too expensive for your phones load. Is it?

I have two classes on Tuesdays, and was MyLotting on my iPad on my break in between classes. hahaha! Glad to hear I'm not the only one why MyLots throughout the day, out and about, like that. :P

Sounds exciting. You must have a good data plan and you can type anywhere you want without having to stay at home and sit at your desk or table. I am slightly far sighted and it would take me forever to type on my iPhone. I was thnking of taking my iPad but here people think that only wealthy people have them. And we do not have good data plans here. Not exactly a one finger typist. Have to shove in the portable keyboard as well.

You're lucky your bank was lenient. Other banks don't allow people inside using their mobile phones, if one has to use a mobile phone for a call or just text, they would let you do it outside of the premises.

yeah it is really convenient to be mylotting when you have data plan and when you are outside the house. :D i also do that if i get free wifi connection as i feel at least i am earning a bit when i am on mylot.

Recently, i am very happy that i am able to access Mylot from my tablet in my car while waiting for my sister to order some McDonald's burger and French fries for take away. I am very happy that the line is fast and clear, that i am able to reply to a few discussions. What's more, i can even have the chance to read some online news as well. With the available of wifi, it is really convenient for us to online. By the way, do bank's wifi need any password to access them? so far, i haven't tried to online from the bank area yet. I've also been accessing mylot from my mobile phone during the same situations: when I was in line lol! I usually find paying bills in payment centers' lines to be longer than those of the bank's. In our depository bank, they have lanes specially for senior citizens, a separate one for usual clients, another one for outsider or non-depositors and yet another one for preferred clients. I usually go under the preferred clients not because I am a big time depositor or something, but this lane goes for other transactions other than withdrawals and deposits (forex transactions, passbook updating, loans, etc).

Yes!! its good that in our technology now we could enjoy browsing while waiting a long queue especially at the bank.. I remember my mother once asked me to go to the bank and I forgot my phone, the line was so long and slow I get really bored and upset. I learned my lesson to never forget your phone when going to places like this because you'll never know what will happen..

I used to mylot on my android phone, I do sometimes on my android tablet. It's definitely a better way to pass time instead of just sitting there bored. Luckily bank visits never take more then a minute or two here.

Hi ardoy. I cannot access MyLot via my mobile phone because I am merely using Nokia C7. However, I can still enjoy MyLot while waiting in my car, sitting in a coffee shop or relaxing at The beach thru my iPad and pocket wifi. I love MyLot.

I really did enjoy my lunch today. After we took the van that was no longer running to the scrap yard, my friend and I ran to Wal-Mart to get a couple of things that we needed and then we decided that it was time for us to go out for lunch. She hasn't been able to choose what she wanted to eat for over three months, so I let her decide what to eat for lunch. She decided that she wanted Chinese food so that is what we had. I too love the fact that I have internet access on my phone. I don't use it all the time, but it really does come in handy when I am waiting to see the doctor and while I am getting my e-stim treatment.

Good for you! Some banks do not allow the use of cellphone while clients are inside.

Its really cool to have such gadgets to have some fun while waiting or just merely killing time. The best part would be earning while killing your boredom.

as much as possible, i go to branches that have lesser depositors so the lines are shorter. in banks like bpi where you get a number then wait to be called, i'd stay a while to observe, then leave for a while to do other stuff and come back. of course, i make sure i don't lose my number and always check the time.
